It comes down to this, the Indians essentially believe that they can get Muslim Nations to no longer care about Islam. It's the one constant geopolitical strategy.

They do the same with Iranians always pushing the zorro stuff, and even that idiot ambassador started talking about ancient civilizational links between India and Saudi, which is just unsubtle code for...... before Islam.
The diplomatic loss is not just the Saudis signing this agreement, it is the reopening of that psychological wound of Muslim unity, which some Hindus process, for some reason, as a profound rejection of their belief.

Not how can you slap, how can you leave. .... Lol


Let's also not forget that within the Iranian parliament a few months ago Pakistan was literally celebrated.

And how can they reopen the iran chapter given that Israel is hugging them closely

That all this is just a hogg wash, in order to appease the respective populations specially the Saudis as since the isreali attack on Qatar their is great unease amongst the saudi public regarding the house of saud and the betrayal of the Americans.

The main thing that has me thinking along these lines is wt i am reading off the grape vines ie that the saudi did tell the Americans that they are about to sign a defence pact with Pakistan.

Which if true points to the fact that the saudis are playing Pakistan to get their u.s defence pact that the Americans have been delaying for years.

and the major problem is 'the nature of Qatar attack' which suggests willingness on the USA and the entity part, to expand their horizons!

Indians were ALWAYS hypocrites about supporting the Palestinians and that hypocrisy goes back decades. But Indians were smart enough to appear balanced and advocated a Two State Solution. But, until very recently, even Netanyahu was talking about a Two State Solution. And those UNGA votes where India voted 'pro Palestinian' were not only meaningless except for the symbology but the vast majority of the world nation supported those resolutions anyway. But too many gullible Palestinians fell for the Indian charade for too long!! @Unknowntruth

However, with Modi, the civilizational revivalism forces in India became too open. Indians, perhaps correctly, saw that the path to India's rise was through working through the AIPAC and that worked well for India until the Israel-Gaza conflict where Modi's bigotry exposed India to the Arab World and to the Global South. By now, anyone who is not a staunch Zionist or a hardcore Hindutva, knows where India truly stands on Palestine. In the Information Age, persistent hypocrisy is impossible to hide!

But still it baffles me that India's mere 'condemnation' of the recent Israeli attack on Qatar without naming Israel and India's 'concerns' about the Israeli attack on Iran a few months ago without condemning Israel has not removed illusions about India from some Persian and Arab eyes?? What will it take??!!!

ultimately, both parties, will look for benefits, exceeding financial benefits (like Indians doing dirty work for the west!)
