Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

and told them to not impact it's labor force working in KSA as well as to continue on with KSA's investments in India. They don't have any issues with the strategic defense pact.
I will say this merely as a statement, but have the Indians not been working very hard the last two decades to deny economic opportunity to Pakistanis, anywhere they can?

How does that happen when it's not in American hands in the first place?

Donald Trump has nothing to criticise Afghan Taliban with so he makes stupid statements for the sake of saying something stupid.
i think he means it. why they need airbase so urgently? may be israel wats tomonitor paf or may be americans want to intercept missiles over afghanistan. who knows! but it's suspicious.

Nuclear weapons work well as a deterrence..be it for Israel or even the US..
you have to understand israsel first in order to understand their mentality. they don't care. they will come for arabs again.

That's one of the things why I wrote that post. I've seen two of their anchors today also, they were concerned that 9 million Indians working in Saudia + Qatar, etc, may be at risk. He said the biggest concern is now Pakistan effecting this labor force.

So India can deny us even WATER, and try to kill us, nearly 25 crore people. Now that all of a sudden tables have been turned, they are concerned about their "labor force"? Modi makes money from the Middle East and then spews hate against Pakistani Muslims and funds his military campaign with Islamic funds?

And on America, Indian FM is now saying "H1B ending will create a humanitarian crises in India". Is it really the truth? An Indian MUST earn $ 100,000 a year instead of an American, otherwise there is a "humanitarian crises"? Such a two faced nation.

We can brag about hoping to deprive you of water

But please don't affect our economic interests

RIYADH: Pakistan’s nuclear umbrella will cover Saudi Arabia, a source close to the kingdom’s government told AFP on Sunday, days after the two allies signed a surprise mutual defence treaty.

The source told AFP that the deal had been in the works for years and that Saudi Arabia expected Pakistan’s arch-rival India to understand the kingdom’s security needs.

When asked if the deal meant Pakistan’s nuclear weapons could be used to defend Saudi Arabia, Ali Shihabi, an analyst close to the royal court, told AFP: “Yes, it does”.

“Nuclear is integral to this deal and Pakistan remembers that the kingdom effectively financed their nuclear programme and supported them when they were sanctioned,” he added.

“India will understand the security needs of Saudi Arabia. Saudi maintains excellent ties with India.”

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif reportedly also told a local broadcaster that the country’s nuclear programme would be made available to Saudi Arabia if needed, following the signing of the agreement.

The news report, however, doesn’t contain Islamabad’s response to this Saudi sources-based report.

The mutual defence agreement was signed in Riyadh just days after an Israeli strike targeted Hamas leaders in neighbouring Qatar that sent shock waves through the Gulf states, who have long depended on the United States for their security.

The kingdom has been a key supplier of oil to India, the world’s most populous country, for years.

India’s rapidly developing economy relies heavily on petroleum imports, with Saudi Arabia ranked as its third-largest supplier according to the Indian foreign ministry.

Islamabad has also fostered close links with Riyadh for decades, with over 2.5 million of its nationals estimated to be living and working in the kingdom. Saudi Arabia has long been a bulwark of economic support for Pakistan’s faltering economy.

So, anything Donald Trump wishes for, becomes his?

If Pakistan did not allow NATO to settle down in Afghanistan, do you think it will tolerate US or Zion presence in Afghanistan?

Problem is the reason he is talking about is Chinese involvement,
He's just making noise for the sake of it and nothing else.

The best he can do is drop heavy ordinance on the Bagram airbase if the US wants to deny others from taking over the base.
