The land is dirt cheap in outskirts of cities but when DHA's touch it it become worth in gold. Can't blame foujis because every civilian want to live in DHA's.

You maybe able to find some case here and there but by large people trust DHA with their life savings. Same can't be said of other housing societies.

DHA Karachi buy 11500k acres 60km away from karachi. In middle of desert with no water, electricity and barely any people living in it. Pay 1 lakh per acre which was government rate.

Now 20 years later the geniuses on PDF will say that was a fraud and land is worth much more.

I am not a fan of DHA projects, despite (full disclosure) having houses in DHA. But I have to add here, Gulistan Colony in Quetta was once nothing but sand dunes. I appreciate what you are saying bahi, but these projects they generate jobs and opportunities.

You are right. The whole Arabian Sea coastline from Karachi to Gwadar can be made an industrial zone. The barren lands behind it can be converted into a solar cum wind power cum battery storage power plant.
