At this point the people of Pakistan have 3 choices.
1. Violent rebellion
2. Mass protest - and facing all the violence that comes with it.
3. Subjugation.
To be honest, this is no different to the choices we've faced practically since day 1. The only difference today is that you have a national level party, which has widespread support from all provinces and it's an ethno-centric party or a fringe party for one particular class of Pakistani. Maybe the last time this was true was for ZAB and his PPP.
I don't think 1 or 3 are good options, but ultimately, continuing with 2 will lead to 1 or 3. The establishment wont change voluntarily. Either another generation gets used to slavery, or they will engage in violent rebellion - some of them at least.

I am not sure why people are not openly talking and highlighting that Asim Muneer and his gang in GHQ and Abbapara must be eliminated swiftly before things go further south. These are few individuals who can be counted on fingers. This is the quickest and easiest off ramp for everyone involved.
Either Army put Asim Muneer and his gang as sacrificial animals infront of the nation, or nation itself hunt them down. It only need a small surgery to fix things. Going against the whole institution will only play into the hands of Asim.

That will not happen and even if it does will not solve the underlying issues.
Egypt is a prime example of that.
The core issue is the military ingress politically and now more so economically. Any Army Chief will ultimately act to protect those gains and even expand them.That is how they are trained.
The first step is a national popular sentiment to counter that ingress. We have that right now. The next step is a more difficult one and would require years of efforts.
