last ditch effort fails to change pti s mind on march

ISLAMABAD: The political battlefield in the capital appeared primed for yet another confrontation between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday (today), with neither side willing to give ground – resulting in a political stalemate that has left the city bracing for unrest.

With threat alerts ringing in the air, the federal capital is bracing for a powder keg of a showdown, with both the government and PTI maintaining their respective positions.

The government's refusal to allow the protest and PTI's determination to go ahead with it has left the residents of the twin cities in limbo, as severe security measures leave the streets eerily quiet.

To add fuel to the fire, the government has announced an internet shutdown in security-sensitive areas during the protest.

The latest clash between the PML-N-led government and PTI comes after the latter threw down the gauntlet, announcing plans for a rally that could escalate into a sit-in unless its demands are met, including the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, the reversal of the 26th constitutional amendment and the return "stolen mandate".

In response, the government while relying on an order of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) conveyed that PTI will not be allowed to hold a rally or stage a sit-in in the capital at any cost, citing security concerns as well as the arrival of an 80-member delegation of Belarus, which will be led by its President Alexander Lukashenko, to Islamabad from November 24 to 27.

I am here in Islamabad , internet is working on high speed , people are busy with their usual routines .......Final call is the last nail on IIk's coffin .....good riddance .

Nothing ever happens

Things will happen when the people of Pakistan stop treating this as a joke and start being serious. These rallies are little more than picnics with tiffin boxes. The armed rats they face aren’t going to run away because PTI supporters are playing songs.

What is required is a revolution in which the rats are caught and justice is delivered to them on the spot. For that they need to bring something other than tiffins.

I hope to see many as possible anti-Pakistan PTI traitors turn up today.

As Cartoon-e-Azam Imran Khan is now desperate, scared of being poisoned to death by toilet cleaner, this is a do or a die moment for the Shaikh Chillis. The Protest of Treachery must prevail.

All participants need to come with the intention that they will either die today or go to jail.

Please encourage everyone to come in white shrouds. There needs to be a complete blood bath, otherwise it will not get the international attention as you already know not a single world leader has bothered to make a single comment on Cartoon-e-Azam Imran Khan's arrest to date.

Foreign nationals including Afghan citizens participating in PTI protest: Interior Minister

Are Pakistani citizens involved in PTI protests, or is this movement led by foreigners?: Mohsin Naqvi

News Desk
November 24, 2024

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi claimed that foreign nationals, including Afghan citizens, are participating in protests organised by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), while rallies have only emerged from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

In a press conference at D-Chowk, Naqvi revealed that "33 out of 100 individuals arrested in PTI's last protest were Afghans, and several other foreign nationals were detained in the past two days." He questioned PTI's intentions, asking, “Are Pakistani citizens involved in your protests, or is this a movement led by foreigners?”

Naqvi added that, once the protests conclude, authorities would publicly present an assessment of the damages incurred, so that the public can make decisions. “PTI protests bring harm to the country and create considerable hardship for citizens,” he said.

So you will kill them just because they are

1. Supporter of a political party that you don't like.
2. Call Imran Khan their leader. Who is not a terrorist leader but ex-PM of this country.
3. Are using their political and constitutional right of protesting.

??
Does a person deserve to die just because of his political affiliation ?

Doesn't look likely anytime soon. We have federal state, people concentrate in their own provisional territories, this is why not many people come out, noone wants to travel 100s of KM to Islamabad to get shelled from the police. Inqalaab should come from KPK if PTI is realistic, why don't they make reforms in KPK, make land, health, tax, education reforms, crack down on corruption, start a new professional police force, be a role model for whole Pakistan.
