Bro I was expecting it already cause many people weren't going out cause of the notion that it won't be successful. Ab ghairat jaag gyi hay. Vans are getting ready in my constituency too. And that amphibious part is funny. It would be the second time, first was that famous Pathan guys video from 2 days ago travelling in rivers riding inflatables

It was the generation of 60s and 70s who were followers of Nawaz Sharif and PPP, on top we had highly intoxicated jihadi followers who blind follow the mullahs to even committ suicide bombings, once these people reached 20s 30s 40s 50s they became big followers of PPP, PPP, JUI, Taliban, TJ and the rest. The generation alot of senior member of PDF belong to 80s and 90s we had noone to follow, we didn't like Zardari and Nawaz and their policies so ended up following the army due to India Pak rivalry. Later on Generation Z came, they followed Imran Khan and PTI, they are the one who insisted that the army generals and judges remove Nawaz Sharif, they praised Army, ISI, Judiciary till the day Imran Khan was removed, IK and PTI with the help of army and ISI reached power. You should know Nawaz Sharif and Benazir were removed countless times by army due to big disagreements.

The only problem of Army with Imran khan is that he do not need Army to come in power. Why he'd need army when he can get majority of votes by public and his support base? Only the Zardaris & PMLN need army to remain in power. Army helped rigged the elections in 2013 against PTI, they even rigged in 2018 in favor of PMLN ( Khawaja asif statements are on record). This is a flop & baseless propaganda that army or ISI "helped" PTI. They never because Imran khan had massive support already. Army never wants a strong leader coming in power without their help, they know such a leader can't be controlled. That's why they rigged elections in 2018 and stole many PTI seats and give those seats to MQM, BAAP and PMLN. so PTI forms govt with help of allies and can be brought down too.

GHQ do not want IK in power because he don't need their help and hence he is not controllable. While Nawaz & Zardaris have no public support at all and hence they are completely in hands of establishment. Plus they are corrupt as well, so they are extremely vulnerable because their cases can be opened anytime. They have to remain a bootlicker as long as they want to remain relevant in politics. IK's respect for the armed forces in the past has nothing to do with his politics, it was as one patriot does so bond between military & nation remains intact. Just like people here despite feeling so much disgust about the Generals but still feel good when new advancements are made in military technologies of the country.

IK was to sure die a political death but the PDM drama energized it - if this was certain “usual suspect” countries - his old age would be a natural “path” for an induced off ramp to the afterlife - and replacements from PTI could be brought in. IK begged them - and I have no love for the establishment for anyone to bring that in - but Faiz and Bajwa along with others agreed to it.

From holding off representation from other parties in election booths to disrupting rallies to the buying of independents , the establishment’s strategy was in full play and many PTI supporters then pointed this out with glee back then.

I’m sure it’s possible but to say he didn’t need army or doesn’t need them today is ignoring the flawed system.

I don’t actually think IK did anything wrong with getting military involved in 2018 elections - because otherwise PML(N) rigging and vote stuffing would NEVER have allowed even a close election.

But, he was NEVER and is NOW not fit to be PM - the day to day decision maker for Pakistan. President Imran Khan was the way to go which sadly both Bajwa, Faiz and other power supporters totally misread.
