I will apologize for butting in, but I couldn't stop myself seeing this massacre.
From all I have been reading in bits and pieces, and hearing about the characters involved in this whole tragedy unfolding.. from the point of view of civilians of Pakistan.. I feel there is lot of behind the scenes games being played.
I believe that while Imran might be thinking, that he is fighting for civilian control.. he has been surrounded by characters, who already were in the Military's coat pocket, or made deals at a later point when he was brought down.
While the general public, ranging from those who are in Pakistan, and those who are outside feel he can be a rallying point.. for the greater good of their nation, the game has been rigged so to speak.
The biggest give away of it all, is one of the leaders of this March Gandapur being seen with suspicious eyes by even the Public whenever his vehicle fell back. One can't fault the people in March, but anyone with military and strategic thinking, will realize that one doesn't make moves with suspected traitors in their rank and file.
Finally this wife of Imran, I feel she is certainly a very suspicious character. Apologies that I have no credible proof, but its just gut feeling from what I heard from different sources. Its not that big of a conspiracy theory, considering the number of leaders who were brought down by female intrigue or other kind like backstabbers in their group.
One final thought is that, the West and in particular US.. irrespective of whether it was Kamala had she won, or now Trump won't be batting much of an eyelid for this massacre. Sure noises will be made, posts on Twitter etc.. all because the Pakistani origin voters in US, are now trying to lobby for stuff .. but no concrete steps shall be taken. The Establishment cannot be touched, when the game of countering China is afoot.
Apologies again but Imran in his efforts, is only pushing more and more of Aam Janta or Public to further suffering. Perhaps he should stop and re-think, and also check who exactly is truly with him and who isn't.
I just wanted to give my thoughts as a neutral observer, and feel sad for loss of human life.. who for political or whatever interest, were involved in mostly peaceful protest which is any human's right on this planet. Whether it be any form of government, considering basic human decency.
Unfortunately the Establishment might not be facing, any serious consequences in near time terms as many want it to happen. However by doing this, the Military (I know its Rangers but, everyone knows where the true power resides) has certainly opened a new chapter in the internal discourse when it comes to their respect overall institutionally.
My views are just personal, and apologies if it hurts anyone's sentiments with me being an outsider. Peace out.. and hope no more life's are lost.

Interesting that you should say that. Even when Imran Khan was in power I thought that Bushra Bibi was probably an ISI plant.
The one before that, Reham Khan, was an MI6 operative.

This category has not climbed up the maslow’s pyramid to think beyond food, drink and sex. They’re easily brainwashed and given the right conditioning able to jump into a hail of bullets to die - that’s what you need when fighting.
So yes - while they could distinguish between right and wrong - you’re also training them to be aggressive and forceful which they will then interpret within the orders is orders.

I doubt the nation will spit on them - hate them - yes. But unless it gets to a full ethnic level independence movement from the west - nothing will happen.

- Torture
- Attacking elderly / Women /Children
- Rape /Video making
- Attacking people praying

- Attacking unarmed people
- Using Drones on Villages (those videos are not out in public) but those who see these videos they decimate whole villages and animals of villagers with drones

- Collecting ransom money in remote areas

The Punjab Rangers cold blooded murdering outfit is exactly what they are. No one in any region of Pakistan should go to a protest where these lot are, and if you are going, go heavily armed and I'm not just talking assault weapons. These lot were kicked hard in AJK.
