Pakistani members' optimism over Indus Water Treaty:

Is it a pretension or do they mean it?

Some of Pakistani members' refrain is that India can't do it (breaking of Indus Water Treaty). If it could, it would have done it long ago."

But then why did India take it so long to abrogate article 370?

To this some apparently optimistic Pakistani members would say, "Abrogation of article 370 was just a paper annexation. It doesn't make any difference."

well they went back on Shimla agreement and all other peace treaties with india so if we declare indus water treaty null and void and use all water for owrselfs and give rest to them nothing wrong with it cause they understand only that language then so bo it ....... Indus water treaty dragged this far cause Indian goverment despite 60+ years of provocations and all criminal cats of pakistani part we still kept owr word on it now we dont want to drag it .. do what you want now we dont care

Pakistan will have years of time to build more dams. We can not just annul the treaty and start utilising all the water from day one. Flow will reduce Year by year 2-3% , by then even Pakistani can prepare itself.

Article 370 doesn't threaten livelihood of Pakistanis. Infact India can make 1000 more changes to their constitution.

Geography and ground realities make India diverting water from 3 western rivers very difficult and expensive. Nuclear fallout insure India doesn't try to use water as weapon even if they could.

India have full right on 3 eastern rivers, these have 20% of water. 3 western rivers have 80% of water. India doesn't give Pakistan more share out of good will, they just have no control over it. Pakistan doesn't even allow India to build storage dams on western rivers. All dams must be run of river dams with minimum storage to generate electricity.

Majority of indus river water comes from with in Pakistan border glaciers. And water that comes from IoK they cannot control it.

Hindu terrorists on PDF and elsewhere want to use water as weapon as majority of them live in mahabhrat delusions.

These are few reasons Pakistanis don't care about Indians crying about Indus treaty.

Word Notice is not applicable in this case ,India has and can request Pakistan to renegotiate on this industry water treaty but can,t service a notice to Pakistan provided she has not violated the preset terms and limits of treaty.

they will never build a dam until its funded by some european nation and they are making corruption money from it too

thats the main reason they never build any dam after 1960s cause it was also funded by UNO and mirpuries got free ticket to settle in UK because of it now that aint hapenning so they wont do that .. you know what i mean
