Pakistan’s meat exports to China soar amid growing demand

The country has already exported meat worth $500 million to China this year, with the numbers expected to rise.
Organic Meat, a leading Pakistani exporter, has increased its frozen meat production by 300 metric tons per month to cater to the growing demand. This expansion is part of the company’s efforts to capitalize on China's preference for Pakistani meat.
China’s interest in Pakistani meat is largely driven by the need for foot-and-mouth disease-free products. Pakistan's geographical location and strict livestock regulations make it an ideal supplier.

"The Chinese market offers immense potential for Pakistani meat exporters," said an industry expert. "With the right infrastructure and quality control measures in place, we can further increase our exports and tap into this lucrative market."
