hmm ok. And what will be the boundaries of these new provinces ? Not breaking up Baluchistan would be a huge opportunity missed.

Let's see.

But I really hope that Pakistan doesn't come under pressure from waderas and their proxies.

Pakistan desperately needs new provinces...

The only benefit of a defacto military rule is that you can do difficult or controversial decisions without opposition. If they can steal entire mandate of the nation and appoint puppets then they can do just anything.

But our military rulers never came to power for the betterment of the country. They do it for their own greed for power.

Literally no one can stop Asim, if he decides to make 2,3 provinces in Baluchistan, same with KP and south punjab definitely is over due, also sindh can be made into 2. and all future govts will stop getting bullied by provinces and political parties that have hold over those provinces.

He shaked entire system, trampled law/constitution, bulldozed human rights, trampled national mandate, judiciary, media freedom for hisself and his own power. But he won't do provinces as this does not suit him personally or there's no personal incentive in it. Actually N-league won't be happy splitting punjab as they only put some effort in Lahore and 99.9% rest of punjab is literally poor as anything especially south punjab which has most population of punjab. Similarly PPP won't be happy by splitting sindh. Boy needs these puppets for peaceful unlimited tenure of his own.
