True if it was in 2016. But extreme poverty fell sharply in India when people got access to brick mortar housing, piped water connection, electricity, and sanitation, all these rapidly expanded in the last ten years at an extremely high rate. A lot of people still live in the old 2000s when quality of life seemed better at your end.

It is hard to be extremely poor in India, unless you live in a cutoff region or in Tribes.

And you think Pakistan has not improved significantly since 2016?

I would build Pakistan with my own hands if I could.

if west didn't demonise dictatorship, many countries would do better with a dictator that is held accountable by the people and if he fucks up gets lynched by the people.

Instead now days global south countries have to live with endless corruption with no accountability at all and no punishments.

Pakistan's Nominal GDP has improved from 390 Billion Dollars to 460 Billion Dollars in recent times.

We are about half the Nominal GDP of Taiwan.
