Is he wearing a Bright Red jacket in a what looks like a on-going operation in mountains? like seriously? he will visible to enemy from miles away... but unfortunately SSG hasn't been best special group anyway, very poor track record of losing men with 1:1 ratio sometimes even worse.

use of SSG for anti terror is worst thing hapoend to them. SSG should be for war without rules. i just started SAS season on netflix and get some idea how SAS did amazing work in WW2.

Exactly..SSG would be used for coin opps , sabotage and destroying small but imp assests in enemy territories for eg a remote radar,an ammo dump, a prison camp, a signals corps unit etc etc..How israeli agents infiltrated and destroyed iranian systems is a great example...i wonder if we those types of units in the army

we are wasting ssg talents on counter terror. we should create anti terror squad and let ssg free from rules.

ATS isnt even doing a good job in counter opps.
If we look at india we can see that they have divided a lot of the work:
~It uses rashtria rifles for insurgencies in Kashmir or para sf(some regiments)
~NSG for counter terror op like hijackings
~Marcos for navy and Garud for AF

While we use SSG for all of this even hijacking we use ssg just cuz they got more experience on CQB, there should be seperate units which would create a large pool of skilled men and create healthy compition between them but it is kinda valid seeing how much it costs to equip each solider , tranning and other stuff .

we need to adapt according to the time. SSG is fur war not for anti terror. we are using SSG for VIP protocols to anti terrir. create a new force define its role instead of using SSG.
