Peep the guy in center. Glad to see decent/sensible kit setups from SSG.
But kinda saddens me that they have to resort to personal purchases for decent gear and is not issued by their command.

The same happens the world over. Even in the United States, most SF troops purchase parts of kit they prefer over government issued ones.
With access to Amazon and other e-commerce websites, it is easy for personnel to purchase items/equipment.

Not saying it doesn't happen. Many operators even buy some different brand of uniform.
But their issued kit is way better than whatever PA is issuing to SSG.

Black Shadow 730 DPV also known as Rotinor SB-S730/Rotinor Black Shadow [RBS] diving scooter in service with Special Services Group Navy [SSGN] during display at the Islamabad Parade Ground for Independence Day Celebrations.

RBS DVP can generate upto 8HP with 10x adjustable power levels & can be operated to a depth of 60m. High-Energy Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) accumulators form the powerhouse of the RBS .
