Pakistan's strategic culture is fundamentally broken: Critical analysis

Our ethnocentric identity is superseding our national identity, that's the problem

It's no different to the English, Scots, welch and Irish, except they don't bomb travellers and needlessly slaughter each other

To be fair they don't do it in Pakistan either, just some of the "groups" do

Pakistan needs to forge the idea of Pakistaniyat above anything and everything else and enforce sedition laws asap

He was a revolutionary founder of todays Turkey, insulting him as insulting the Turks, he is called Ataturk for a reason. This isnt a place to debate him anyway. He was no traitor either he literally won their independence, as a Pakistani you having strong opinions against him is stupid and shameful as that is best left to turks to decide for themselves.
Why don't you compare Turkey to Saudi Arabia?

Pakistani military needs a coherent ideology like Kemalism, I don't mean the religious angle, but the comprehensive nation-building angle to turn a crowd of people into a nation, and so policies have a long term vision to them and are not just reactionary firefighting.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk turned Turkey into a rational nation & power to be reckoned with.

Religious nationalism is not a solution it's just a band-aid to kick the can down the road. Pakistan should instead be inspired by Indus civilisationalism and see itself as a modern inheritor, a representative of the peak of Indo-Aryans. Muslim should be a secondary characteristic just like in any other country religion is. Politics should be based on rationality, logic and benefit, not blind adherence cause a cleric said so.

You can combat Afghanistan and separatism far more effectively like this. In the long term.
Yeah, here is your hero Ataturk the drunk:

That dude was a white wannabe

Pakistan needs nationalism but it needs nationalism based upon our own identity, culture, faith and values

It doesn't need to be slavish attempt to try and make us into a white nation

Why don't you compare Turkey to Saudi Arabia?

Countries with oil money can do whatever they want. They can run a dictatorship, minimal freedoms and the people will still love them for it, anything goes when you have oil money.

But to build a coherent, high functioning society from nothing is the real challenge.

Ataturk was not a Muslim. lol. Ataturk was a Kaafir, he was a drunkard.

I do not care about the Turkish government. Ottomans were much better.
You are a loser who has an obsession with a failed ideology (Ottomaniam) that the very people who built, fought and died for replaced with the visiom of Ataturk and venerate him as a founder.

typical south asian islamist loser lol

What is pakistaniyat btw? You admitted in your own tweet that it failed vs ethnocentric identity and a major reason for that is because it is hollow, lacks any core or foundation apart from very vague religious slogans.

Its hollow meaning and lack of core means it will continue to lose out because it makes no sense.

Dont get me wrong im a nationalist like you but it needs reform to something more sustainable with a stronger foundation, right now we are coping pretending it has a core nation building element when it doesnt

Strong foundation = strong nationalism = stronger more effective policies

If the foundation is hollow lacking meaning, then there is very little to expand on it for nation building and it will lose against ethnocentric separatiam which is strongly coherent

You secular Liberalism will fail. Your Kemalism disease is nothing but for losers.

I too am for strong nationalism as well. I never said I was for Ottomanism you loser.

But I am against Kemalism.

You are nothing but a secular Kemalist loser.

But Saudi Arabia claims to be serving Muslim interests.

What is pakistaniyat btw?

It is a geographical and spiritual ideology rooted in shared values and a civilizational rejection of Indian hegemony in all its forms and at all costs. Over 2 million people died during the partition for this.

These ethno fascists don't seem to mind existing under the boot of the Indians just like the Bengalis. What a pathetic and pitiful existence. So we do not consider them Pakistanis.

But Saudi Arabia claims to be serving Muslim interests.

Sure there is no doubting that.

Sorry but that barely has any meaning, its hollow as I said, lacks a core to expand on

Every country has "shared values, geography" and rejects foreign hegemony. Give it a coherent national definition like for other states, China, Turkey, India for example.

By the way i might sound harsh but this is from an analytical perspective, i am pro pakistan territirial integrity, just reforming its ideology
