That is quite shocking news to me. At least I've never seen/heard anyone talk smack about or talk down your lot. Its mostly the poor muslims that get the stick, and worse. Not nice, but that whole situation is rooted in partition and the wars etc since.

Do you have Parsi friends currently? Who are active socially, and on social media, outside their Parsi comfort zone enclaves.

But then you told me your circle does not have serious conversations, so maybe the question is meaningless.

Nope no Parsis currently and for a good long whiles. I thought this xxwala guy I sometimes bump into was a Parsi but it turned out he's Ismaili.

Oh, yeah.. there's 2 really good ones. One is a Syrian Canadian who lives here, other is a Kashmiri, now based in the middle east. Huge Modi/sangh/right wing bashers.

Maza aata hai unke saath discussion ka. Me grinning and bearing it for the most part, but also having a good laugh on other occasions. Pretty standard stuff. Idhar down south wala crew generally christians hai, not fond of the current ruling dispensation either.
