Here are some facts:
- PKK largely struggled to operate within Türkiye, primarily due to constant drone surveillance.
- They were virtually non-existent in Türkiye and had already regrouped in northeastern Syria and northern Iraq.
- In other words, the news is misleading and attempts to generate a positive narrative, as it merely reflects the reality that existed in Türkiye before this "official announcement."
- PKK asserts that this action signifies their willingness to engage in dialogue with the Turkish state. However, this is propaganda. They faced a military defeat on Turkish territory.
- I doubt they will lay down their weapons in Iraq and Syria.
If I had to make a guess:
They will probably focus heavily on Syria and Iran. I wouldn't be suprised if CIA and Mossad use them against Iran supporting PKK's Iranian network called "PJAK".

I understand your objection to my comment. Just be aware that...
A total of 25 terrorists left Türkiye during the withdrawal, the PKK claimed, releasing a picture of the terrorists.
It goes without saying that this is an absurd figure, and it illustrates a clear point: they were defeated by the security forces, which is the sole logical explanation for their change of heart. The world has reverted to its original state: only power matters.

Its all based on Syria, the peace talks collapsed in the first place b/c the PKK found strategic depth in Syria due to the Syrian civil war. They can't find it in Iraq b/c the KDP already occupies that lane, Iran is shut off for the, the KDP aligned group is dominant there, they were driven out of Turkey, so the only place they have is Syria. You get rid of them in Syria, their leverage ends and they come back to the negotiating table.
Whats real puzzling is why Turkey is this passive, idk if its US pressure or what that is keeping Turkey from decisively settling this once and for all. most of the Area is Sunni Arab, they just need to be dislodged from Ain Al Arab, and all the way down to the Manbij dam and the M4 and they will collapse in Raqqa and Dier Ez Zor. Hasakah is really the only challenge/complication, but by then they would have severely lost leverage.

Syria is crucial in these discussions, but the main concern lies in the lack of sincerity from the AKP and its coalition. I'm not referring to Erdoğan's negotiation strategies regarding the PKK, but rather his hidden objectives that are casting a shadow over the entire process. The AKP/MHP and even the President are aware that they are destined to lose the upcoming election, regardless of their actions. Currently, they are attempting to secure DEM as a new coalition ally for the next election to stay in power, all while trying to exert pressure on the PKK, but this strategy is doomed to fail. Why? Because DEM equals PKK.
It's akin to trying to create a triangle-shaped circle. You should know that even if Damascus and Ankara decide to conduct an operation in NE Syria, it will likely be limited unless the Turkish government reverses its stance and opts to eliminate the PKK presence in Syria once and for all.
The worst thing is that the terrorist Öcalan is now emboldened enough to articulate claims and demands as such:
