I too am skeptical, far too premature. Soylu for some reason is too optimistic. Syria is still not settled, and there are regional dynamics that are in flux.

The key to a solution lies in the hands of the Turkish leadership and its political will.

Kurdish unity is a historical necessity, but it is blocked internally.

The regional conflict is a struggle for international influence, its prone to escalation.

“This war is not just a war between the PKK and the Turkish state.
This war is a resistance waged to demand accountability for the wrongs suffered by our ancestors, to take revenge for them.
We are their successors.
Without revenge, this blood will not stop flowing.”

Shouldn't the "Kurds" not act as a mercenary force for the USA in its preparations to attack Iran first? Iran would not be doing this if they did not think the Kurds were part of American/Israeli plans?
