Most just want better leadership in Pakistan, a leadership who cares about its people and focuses on development. Instead we have dacoits in power. I understand you are opposing those who are dreaming of some kind of rebellion, these people are either emotionally charged or work for foreign agencies, pretty similar to the western Islamic political parties, who don't even recognise Pakistan, its borders, flags, constitution, never mind the army, these groups are funded by agencies to destroy nations from within.

He was a failed experiment of a failed system that simply cannot acknowledge that they needed to empower and not control the educated middle class - but since the brass cannot tolerate the inevitable smiles that educated middle class gives them that makes them feel uncomfortable - they will never let go of their control but vax eloquently on democratic systems and rule of law while not really wanting to change anything.

Its a case of “look how smart I am - you need me” that drives this system at every possible level. It stems from the British Raj never having left - with a viceroy and the “west” India company constantly looking for various queens and kings to pledge loyalty to.

I’m not a fanboy of the army and needs oversight and civilian control, but the fact of the matter is, the military is holding the country together. The system, although imperfect, is the best we can hope for. On the east we have a growing and hungry power that’s hellbent on neutralizing Pakistan in order for them to become a truly powerful nation. In the West, we have loud mouth Persians and their offsprings and they don’t think highly of us. Unity is needed at the moment and the system gradually cleansed from bottom up.

General Mushraff talked about bringing a 3rd way between Pmln and PPP, he tried his own party APML but it never got off, then PAT was encouraged to promote a change in Pakistan, Dr Tahir ul Qadri challenged the whole old order, despite media and opposition propaganda he could not be countered except that he is a molvi so failed to win votes, Imran Khan followed exactly what Dr Tahir ul Qadri mentioned and he gained all the votes and following. This was the blessings from the establishment, they gave space to these parties. The plan was good, they wanted a new party for the new generation, new ideas and new vision. The issue happened similar to what happened between Nawaz Sharif v Raheel Sharif, the dawn Leaks, geo propaganda, General Mushraff had to hide in military hospital due to Nawaz Sharif wanting his blood. Imran Khan from being an ally wanted the junior generals to kick out all the senior generals, so a military coup which failed and now the nation is facing the consequences.

This person is insulting Pakistanis who are actually helping the country by sending $31 billion in remittances every year. These hardworking overseas Pakistanis make sacrifices—they don’t eat well, they don’t dress well—just so they can send their entire earnings back home to support the people in Pakistan, many of whom are sitting idle.

This individual, like you , is criticizing overseas Pakistanis without realizing the truth. They didn’t leave Pakistan by choice; they left because people like you who made life unbearable for them in their own country. People like you loot Pakistan, align with brutal regimes, and then have the audacity to question the loyalty of those who are genuinely contributing to the nation’s survival.
Overseas Pakistanis care deeply for Pakistan and often live more patriotically than those who never leave. They’ve seen the world, they understand how it progresses, and they know exactly why Pakistan is falling behind. Meanwhile, critics like this person likely haven’t even stepped out of their own towns.
Shame on you for such ignorant comments. While I was busy for 12 hours, some of you started acting like a genius behind my back, but in reality, you and your “macho men” crew are nothing more than clowns. Why are Pakistanis living abroad so deeply invested in Pakistan’s progress? The answer lies in their exposure to the world. When they travel to places like Dubai, London, Paris, New York, Washington, Barcelona, or Madrid, they witness how these countries have transformed themselves in just 30 to 50 years. They read the history of these nations and learn that many of them were in dire conditions not too long ago. Yet, through visionary leadership, well-structured systems, and dedication to progress, these countries changed their destinies.
When overseas Pakistanis compare this to Pakistan, they can’t help but feel frustrated. They realize that Pakistan’s leadership, army, and establishment have consistently failed to deliver over the past 50 years. These so-called leaders have not educated or empowered the people, nor have they trained them to build a brighter future. Instead of leading the country toward progress, they treated it like their personal fiefdom, leaving Pakistan in its current state.
Abroad, Pakistanis see firsthand how the world has developed—modern cities, efficient systems, and opportunities for everyone. When they look back home, they see nothing but corruption, incompetence, and missed opportunities. It’s no wonder they feel a sense of panic and urgency. They shout, they criticize, and they try to make the people of Pakistan understand why the country is falling behind.
Their frustration comes from a place of love and concern. They want to see Pakistan rise, just like the countries they’ve seen abroad. The question they pose is simple: why has the world moved forward, but Pakistan remains stuck?

Everyone of PTIs leaders, these Generals , PML, PPPP or whatever Mullah party that comes has its leaders in 60s+ - while majority of your population is <35 - when you have representation you have some interest - right now the youth either wants out or just wants to survive. It’s plain psychology - which these idiots in charge don’t understand (or they do which is worse). This is what leads to a Syria -

The one who tried to do something for Pakistan, the one who achieved so much, is in prison. The one who gave Pakistan its atomic bomb died miserably. The one who made Pakistan a reality also died miserably.

Pakistan is a country that treats its heroes like animals. This is the unfortunate truth.
Instead of celebrating those who sacrifice for the nation, we humiliate them, abandon them, and erase their contributions from our collective memory. The system is designed to crush anyone who dares to make a difference. And yet, people still wonder why the majority have lost hope or why the youth want out.
Pakistan doesn’t fail because its people are incapable. It fails because its system punishes the capable.

If you’re saying Imran Khan was a failed experiment, then let me remind you—who is it that performs these experiments? It is the people of Pakistan who voted for him. This was their experiment, their choice, and they still stand behind it.

Imran Khan is not just a politician; he is the reason Pakistanis united in a way we haven’t seen in decades. He leads the only party with genuine popularity across all provinces—Punjab, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and even Balochistan. No other leader or party has managed to achieve this level of national unity.
You may criticize him all you want, but many of you would agree that he brought hope to a disillusioned nation. He stood against the corrupt status quo and gave people a vision for change. This is why millions of Pakistanis, both at home and abroad, continue to support him, despite the challenges and smear campaigns against him.
Instead of dismissing him as a “failed experiment,” perhaps you should look at the system and those who have ruled Pakistan for decades. The real failure lies in the establishment and elites who control and manipulate every aspect of this country, not in the people’s choice to seek change.

The truth is, Pakistanis are tired of this colonial mindset, where a handful of elites refuse to empower the educated middle class and cling to power under the guise of democracy and rule of law. Imran Khan is a reflection of the people’s desperation for change—a symbol of their hope for a better Pakistan.

This is actually good point, before 2011 Darna, young Pakistanis were frustrated with the political leadership, even the military leadership was frustrated, we had no effective leadership, no emerging young leadership. This is where PTI came, a pro Pakistan party, a party which gives platform to the youth and educated class, Pti worked hard to unite all Pakistanis, even the 10m overseas were happy except the older generation. Unfortunately everything went to the dustbin after IK removal, we are set back decade. Imran Khan is not so innocent aswel, the way he thought he will bring the generals on their knees, begging for mercy and bring back IK to power.

I can tell you that I actually saw middle class Pakistanis actually hoisting Pakistan’s flag in front of their homes.
I can’t explain the pride I felt visiting Pakistan during his tenure. My non Pakistani brother in law became Pro- Pakistan after one visit and fell in love with the country. These are intangibles that the current myopic mil-civ can’t see or acknowledge because they’re so used to old useless ways of doing things.

I think the Indians, UAE, and the US. are all happy with the current lot. It stifles the idea of “Pakistaniyet,” and suppressed nationalism which means isn’t in those above countries interest. Simply put, they don’t want a nationalistic Muslim population that will hold their elected/unelected leadership accountable, and can accomplish great things. From 2018 to 2021, it was exciting time to be Pakistan. The pinnacle of that was 2019 Balakot strikes on India and destroying their image across the world. People across the world were impress with the leadership of IK. The Muslim world started to look towards him (imperfect as he was). He provided basic self respect to us. None of which can be ever matched by the disciple lots ruling Pakistan today.

It's the result and execution of collective wisdom and merit on a 24/7 basis. If it's to be a duffer than the Pak Deep State is a duffer!

Well, as for me, I'll go for such duffers any time of the day as long as they can protect my family and me with the overwhelming and terrorizing might of nukes, FGFs, missiles, intelligence games, conventional capability etc. in the toughest neighborhood in a tough world with limitless mercilessness...

You are saying the right thing. I would add that the Turkish nation is uniquely designed to rule the world, tracing back to their ancestors, from Genghis Khan to today. They were leaders of the world until the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Every nation has its own collective memory, and the Turkish deep state, especially after the foreign-led attack on their president in 2016, marks a major turning point. They fought back because of the deep experience and knowledge they’ve carried since the time of Genghis Khan.
The Turkish nation is built differently—its mindset is shaped by centuries of leadership and resilience. In Pakistan, we have Pashtun and Baloch nations that share a similar warrior spirit to the Turks. However, Punjabis and Sindhis, by nature, have a more submissive mentality. Because these two groups make up the majority in Pakistan, they often suppress the growth of a stronger, independent mindset that could drive change and development.

I understand what your saying, we all on PDF felt the same way, excluding a few hardcore NS followers. But we also love our military and want good relations between the government and army, to get on the same page and move forward together. We cannot afford civil war like Syria, great nations work out their problems and move forward. Sometimes it's easier to make big statements but hard to implement, like we want Pakistan to have independent policy but when Saudi Arabia threatened to send back millions of Pakistanis our independent collapsed. No political party gives solution on how to tackle this, where will these millions of workers go, who will deal with the loss of remittances, do we have allies who will take our workers, would UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain followed SA in kicking our workers out. Our economy would have collapsed as the threat was serious.
