some members here that were alive then literally discussed this yesterday how communism was appearing in Pakistan at that time. There was hardly any strong communist base in the country who’d ask Soviet Union

yeah sure man because they were such good friends .Because communists in power in Afghanistan asked Soviet Union to intervene as they were about to lose power to another anti-communist faction in their country.![]()
Due to Imran Khan’s extreme narcissism and his tendency to sideline every capable party member, PTI has become little more than a headless chicken, aimlessly crashing into walls. Instead of focusing on the development of KPK............. the province that elected them for a third consecutive term ............ they’ve chosen to divert their energy and resources into a futile battle against the state.
Mark my words: if they continue down this path (and they most likely will), they will lose their majority support in KPK as well. The shift has already begun , even the youth, once their strongest base, is starting to turn away.
and no matter how far PTI supporters burry their head in the sand , the reality will not change.
The "state"? Military establishment isn’t the state of Pakistan just because it claims it to be.they’ve chosen to divert their energy and resources into a futile battle against the state.
And what Imran Khan has said or done that's against ideology of Pakistan or Pakistan. Not fighting others wars? Not making others wars ours? I used to listen to Faujeets here and on social media telling us Post IK removal that within 2-3 years, terrorism will be defeated and economy will be restored (bear in mind IK's era was only time when Pakistan achieved 6% growth despite COVID during last 22 years or so) ... and now the same people are telling us that a jailed 73 political leader is the core reason behind terrorism. This is not even laughable, it is outrightly sad. While patriots are waiting for a final victory in war on terror using the same old policy common man on street is waiting for Shehbaz Sharif to announce petrol @ Rs. 70/Liter as he used to suggest IK government in 2020-21. Reality on ground tells us that we are doing far worse now in both cases. 2024 was the bloodiest year for security forces while World Bank has rung alarm bells for economy as well.Imran Khan does not come first in my calculus, neither does Asim Munir, nor in fact does any one person or any group of persons.
All that matters is the idea and the ideology that underpins the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Whoever cultivates anything that brings harm to this will reap a bitter harvest.
The same can be said about IK and PTI, they are not doing this for the country just because they claim it to be.The "state"? Military establishment isn’t the state of Pakistan just because it claims it to be.![]()
What has military establishment done for the country for the past 70+ years? Does anyone ever ask this question?Nobody asks the question, what has PTI done for KPK and Peshawar?
The majority of people of Pakistan who support IK / PTI tell otherwise. The same can be said about IK and PTI, they are not doing this for the country just because they claim it to be.
Keep the public busy in useless rhetoric's and they will not ask questions about your performance.Nobody asks the question, what has PTI done for KPK and Peshawar?
What has military establishment done for the country for the past 70+ years? Does anyone ever ask this question?
Case and point, its their opinion.. not reality. The majority of people of Pakistan who support IK / PTI tell otherwise.
What has military establishment done for the country for the past 70+ years? Does anyone ever ask this question?
Afghanistan was and remains a threat to Pakistan because of their fundamental denial of Pakistani sovereignty over our western border, despite written agreements between the then governing regimes in this region (late 19th century). This denial is integral to Afghan national identity politics and will not change until we make it change. All interventions in Afghanistan occur and have occurred against this stark historical context.Soviets were no threat to Pakistan. There was hardly any strong communist base in the country who’d ask Soviet Union to invade Pakistan like they did in Afghanistan.![]()
No long term game plan, infact everything is over for PTI. The leadership needs to be wiser and bring IK out. Its more of an ego fight right now. At first Imran Khan had the upper hand when he became PM and removed Pmln, when loosing the NCM the PDM/establishment had the upper hand, IK then started to accuse military/Usa for his removal and he refused to speak to the military, slowly PTI started heavy propaganda and campaign to encourage junior generals to overthrow the senior ones, this then led to May 9th and military then used that as a counter to bring PTI down, they struggled with alot of opposition in all circles, elections happened and PTI was made to loose, IK arrested and now military has the upper hand, they have all the power.
IK and PTI want free and fair elections, to get their mandate and IK out of jail. The military want Imran Khan apology and to admit 9th May and the coup plan against army generals, they may also be asking him to leave Pakistan for a few years. This is the deadlock.
