the theater of Pakistani army, the script is all too familiar. It began in the 1960s with Fatima Jinnah, continued through figures like Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Faiz Ahmed Faiz, and now once again unfolds with Imran Khan. Each time, the charge of being a "security risk" is levied not merely as a label, but as a weapon to undermine those who challenge the ruling order.

We saw this when Fatima Jinnah was branded a threat for daring to oppose Ayub Khan. We saw it when an elected leader like Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who had the democratic right to lead a united Pakistan, was denied his mandate and labeled a threat—leading to the tragic breakup of the country.

Now, with General Sharif’s recent press conference, we witness the same cycle repeating. Imran Khan, despite his party’s electoral resilience, is now the latest figure to be labeled a security risk. The pattern is clear and the consequences are as perilous as ever. Each time this strategy is employed, it is like playing with fire—risking the nation’s unity and stability for the sake of political convenience.

In the end, history may not judge the wielders of this tactic kindly. The ghosts of past divisions remind us that branding political opponents as enemies within can fracture a nation. And today, as we watch this familiar drama unfold, we must ask: how long will this cycle continue?

I want to know the basic mental flaw of patwaar club. People like @Pakistan Space Agency

Who on earth can be shameless enough to support the corrupt shareef dynasty of Nawaz, Maryam and Shehbaz. Right now, all of these 3 are bowing down, heads on the floor with their tongues out and licking the boots of a retired 21st grade army officer. They are hell bent to ensure that army and airforce become non-professional and remain under retired old men until their deaths. Who can really be that ENEMY of the State that you destroy your constitution, destroy institutions just for your own power. 25 crore nation today spits on Shareef dynasty and everyone of us know their only mandate is in licking boots ONLY. That's their only qualification to come to power. Complete losers in elections, and they shamelessly and proudly announce that they have made a dictator for lifetime. This is treachery with the nation at most extreme level.

Few of patwaris which I knew (who had atleast 1% brain cells working or 1% uprightness or a slight ability to accept truth), now keep hiding their faces, they don't even talk about politics, democracy or constitution today. They feel humiliated & disgusted by turn of events. But then there is a shameless breed who even after seeing everything and still have guts to point fingers at IK / PTI on nothing but most nonsense & paid narratives.

That sort of thinking is typical of delusional cults, since the cultits are indoctrinated to the point where they simply cannot fathom a world without their dear leader.
Just like that DG ISPR Babu cannot fathom a world where his dear boss (Hazrat Asim Munir) is not the unelected King of Pakistan? 🙄

The same guy who said “am i here to lower prices of tomatoes”. The same guy who destroyed Pakistan’s economy, was extremely incompetent, and ended up taking acres of land from a land barron by giving him the money of taxpayers that was given to him by NIA. Corruption rhetoric falls flat when your own pockets are lined with corruption money.

Well the world did just fine even after Muhammad's PBUH and Jesus's PBUH passing as well, yeh IK kis khet kee mooli hey? Pakistan will carry on just fine without him, and AM, and NS, and SS et al too, just like it did after Jinnah, Zia, Musharraf, BB et al passing away too.

You are right!
Pakistan will go on. Imran's ONLY card left is using the resources of the K-P province and ethnic blackmail and they will not be enough for him to emancipate himself. Pakistan is bigger then these midgets! Even I, in my younger years, when Benazir was ousted by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan in August 1990, feared that Sindh would go its own way. So glad how wrong I was!

People who are still in PTI in 2025, are the ones who faced all this and didn't leave the party. Danda will not affect them.
Don't tell me you've forgotten the videos of PTI workers getting their software updated. Here.

This is a chargesheet against the government. There are ample laws available some going back to colonial times yet the government refuses to apply the law to curb down illegal activities and propaganda.

The government is politicising crime and aiding and abetting hybrid war on Pakistan and Pakistan army.

More like Pakistan will limp along, thanks to Establishment political engineering. That may be satisfactory to you, it isn't to me.

Why shouldn't the US take advantage of the corner Munir has put himself in ? They want him to send forces to protect Israel in Gaza, he is waffling, so they now begin using the Imran in prison card. If Imran was not in prison, they would not be able to play that card.

@Distant_Observer

You seems very keen to discuss psychological evaluation of only true leader (only leader with true mandate) who's been in solitary confinement for absolutely no crime (imagine the scale of injustices with the person who's thrown in jail for several years now, the one who should have been the ruler of the country by all moral, legal, or any "principles". ) and yet you drool over silly comments on his mind frame. Any other person would have surrendered long ago. Would have been praising COAS and asking for forgiveness or leaving country (just like pathetic leader of patwaar club). So no, you can't really judge his "psychology" under the EXTREME torturous injustices + isolation he is passing through.

BTW answer me this and don't skip it: What do you think about psychological evaluation of self proclaimed FM / Zia 2.0 ? the person who believes that there's ZERO competent officer in Army except him and no one but he should remain in power until death.

unfortunately, we are only tools to protect others interest. Western knows they won't achieve there national goals through democratic powers of Pakistan, instead they intentionally legitimize a Pakistan govt department.
