Fake news! The one in charge of Adiyala and the rest of Pakistan is the same guy who gave himself lifetime immunity from any criminal prosecution in court as per the 27th amendment. He is enjoying this shit show from GHQ as we speak.

At this stage, his vision in that eye has been permanently lost (in plain terms, the contact stated that it is not recoverable beyond this stage).

I spoke with a physician located in Schaumburg, IL, who knows the medical team in Pakistan that treated him. [To add context, he saw the reports and scans and shared them on a WhatsApp group, I'm in with a select few doctors.]

So what is that doctor’s opinion on this tragedy? Gross negligence by Hazrat Asim Munir or a willful act of Bughz-e-Imran?

I am more worried about his stubbornness as he still doesn't want to negotiate with the power players in Pakistan.

What is there to "negotiate"? The only power players in Pakistan are Pakistani Awam who already rally behind him. The so called "power players" you mentioned above are nothing but illegitimate power grabbers in uniform.

That is bad news, and all the more reason to do everything possible to evaluate the condition of the remaining eye. Urgently.

He should have learned from Abdul Qadeer Khan: a decade or so before Imran Khan, he said his biggest regret was helping Pakistan and leaving a stable life and family behind, only to be left as trash on the side of the road.

On the other hand, we should admire his determination and steadfastness to his stated goals. IK does not wish to compromise, and therefore must also be willing to pay the price for his determination as well.

I respect his decisions.

Honestly, many people on WhatsApp and in other groups hesitate to share their opinions because they have families and extended relatives back home, and they don't want anyone to report them.

Several asked that question; the only response he gave was, "It's in God's hands now."
In essence, the powers that be back home don't care.

But he raised a concern that other clots in the body can be present and lead to paralysis. They should have done blood work when he was admitted, but they have not.

It is better to have all the news relating to PTI in one place rather than a new thread with a few posts on every development.

For example, do we need a new thread on every new tunnel, road and train in China, or all developments in one infrastructure thread?

As I said, one should admire his determination. For a man willing to die for his ideals, all of this would seem to be a small price to pay. If he does die, it is because he chose it rather than compromise.
