Okay, that’s fair. My late grandfather was posted in East Pakistan during Dhaka fall. He told us upon return that although the claims about number of Bengalis killed or raped by Pakistan army were exaggerated — there was NO denial about its occurrence — because he saw it all with his own eyes.

The burden of proof still remains on those making such claims. The cause of the injuries must be verifiable to lend any credence to claims of them being caused by LEOs, of course.

So, a rape victim should investigate and collect proof, do DNA tests, etc and then only the victim can claim that he/she was raped.

What would be the nth proof? That the bullets in the bodies match the gun barrel? then what! the person who fired was not a ranger/police guy but an imposter? Then somebody can claim the guns were swapped, or the bullets were taken from an army firing range, inserted in bodies and so on.

On top, the public has to prove everything!

No, the people making claims of casualties as part of the political crackdown they are also claiming have to prove their claims. The public can only judge such claims to be believable or not, and then decide whether they are outraged enough to do something about it.

Let's not be such a simpleton. If mass murder of demonstrators is happening then there should be some documentary evidence.

Start by listing the names of all those who have been murdered by Police/Rangers please. If individuals have lost their lives, their NICOP information etc. should be available from the families. Where is the evidence for all the people who have been claimed as killed?

The point I am trying to make is that there is an active campaign to make the clamp-down look extremely murderous. The onus is on those who are claiming this to provide proof.

Your example of "rape victim" does not apply here because the PTI crowd claims people were shot and killed in demonstrations. There is bound to be evidence of this if these killings were done at public demonstrations.

You are doing a disservice to Pakistan for the sake of your party by embellishing lies. This is not to say people are not being roughed up, detained and a few protestors have lost their lives in firing incidents, but to paint this as a wholesale mass murder of PTI supporters by Police etc. is an outright lie. Those in the know in PTI also know this, however they are letting the echo-chambers perpetuate these stories to garner sympathy.

I outrightly condemn the treatment of IK's sisters by our jahil police and those who gave the orders. But unfortunately this roughing up isn't exactly unprecedented in Pakistan and at the same time, comes nowhere close to the claims of mass murder of PTI supporters.

I am very aware your culture, although I have never lived in Pakistan.

I am not happy that Pakistanis have turned a Muslim nation with so much potential, into a complete political embarrassment inside and out. That goes for all political parties, and that's also partly due to the military's indifference to puppeting retards, whether it be imran, zardari, or Sharif. The ineptitude of the politicians and military, does not excuse the Pakistani people for their own ineptitude and ignorance in all other regards. You have truly become a nation of offbrand Indians, please change it.

WHo should not comment on the internal dynamics of Pakistan - it is a very complex country. You cannot hide your biased post clearly leaning towards PTI. I think you have lived in Pakistan.
