My point is why are you agreeing with @Meengla and his BS posts about "improvement" in Pakistan? What kind of improvement are you even seeing after recently passed 27th amendment and its legalized dictatorship of the armed forces?
I am agreeing with him to the extent that Pakistan's economy has not collapsed the likes of you have been fearmongering about.
I have already described the 27th amendment as General Zia's Wet Dream From Hell Come True, and that is all the comment I really care to make on it.
I have also persistently said that there is a LOT of improvement that still needs to happen, and that social development must be made a priority.
Furthermore, all the claims of IK being able to fix any of such issues in 90 days, or in one term , are just as much bullshit today as they were when he was making them.
If we are to discuss such topics any further, I strongly suggest that you, - and your fellow cultists here - learn some manners necessary for polite discussion. Thank you.

It HAS collapsed. Without continuous foreign handouts and guarantees, Pakistan’s economic situation would be no different from any other bankrupt country.

Okay, if that assessment is to be regarded as correct, then it has been correct for decades now, including IK's tenure, as well as the current one.
So what has really changed recently in this regard? Not much. The economy was on life support before, is on it now, and it is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future as well.
Again, you really have no substantive argument here to make, except to argue just for argument's sake, endlessly.

No where have I been optimistic about the state of Pakistan's economy, only realistic.
The improvement that I refer to was in avoiding the impending collapse that IK intentionally engineered in the waning days of his tenure.
Pakistan's economy did not collapse, as many wished for, and THAT is no small success.
And for morons quoting snippets out of World Bank reports, note that there is still a small positive rate of growth, but like always, it is utterly negated by the rapid rate of population growth. That has been a persistent feature of Pakistan's history. Those who still believe IK could have ever delivered on his promises of improving living standards are the real fools.
Whose fault is that, I wonder?
