Seems we've deviated from the original issue of this thread. Wonder when the enigma will be resolved.

Not much of an "original" issue to begin with, methinks. Just another failed attempt to create a political ruckus.

The mods can lock this thread if they so wish, for all I care.

Who do you think IMF is? Not Western Powers?

Who did IK meet in the UNGA sidelines that did not please the Saudis? What good did ever come of it?
The IMF doesn’t hand out freebies, it’s a monetary lender and Pakistan has returned to it time and again. But the real issue is the “chooto” mentality, the belief that unless Pakistan flatters Arabs, China, and Western powers, its relationships will collapse.

Then why accept the offer of a free private jet from the Saudis in the first place?!

Siraf Noo Yaruk jaa ker apni khud-dari yaad aa gaye?

Calm down and listen rather than obsessing over IK. Pakistan is a nuclear power with the potential to lead the Muslim world, but we behave like errand boys for the Arabs who don’t even back us on Kashmir anymore and still demand our loyalty on their issues. This constant talk of “degrading” relations only exposes an inferiority complex.

IK shouldn't have said that (according to reports). Also, it was obvious that the aeroplane was bugged.

Our leaders are naive, they don’t understand international politics and often get trapped. Did you know that Liaqat Ali Khan once used the American President’s plane to travel from London to the USA?

....because all we have is bumb and no money. Pakistan will NEVER get respect until it has a better economy. All this talk of "potential" is BS.

This is no complex of any kind but stark reality.

In other words, IK is just much of a moron as our other leaders: naive, don't understand international politics, and get trapped. 3 for 3. Out.
Atleast he isn’t a convicted traitor who ran out of country for 10 years after agreement with Musharaf…. The current military and govt setup is made up of traitors…..

Atleast isn't good enough.

We can say he was the worst out of the lot for his absolutely diabolical views on having a completely open border with Afghanistan.

It's fascinating how out of touch people can become. Imran has been rich and famous for decades so not surprising. British politicians have the same problem.

That's why the army leaders, the salt of the earth types are always more practical.

Your attempts at mic drop moments make me laugh every single time. All Pakistani leaders share a similar mindset, but the good thing about IK is that he doesn’t brag about "personal relations" like the Sharifs and Zardaris do, and he isn’t corrupt like them.
