BREAKING NEWS: Jail authorities at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail allowed PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khanum to meet the incarcerated former prime minister on Tuesday.

The opposition had decided to stage protests outside the IHC and the Adiala jail — where Imran is incarcerated — against restrictions on the former prime minister’s visitation rights.

Just a masoomana sawal.
We knwo that PTI lost street power and major support within Pakistan, than why 144 and ban od gathering and protests etc....???

Let them expose themselves, Online warriors sitting outside Pakistan can whole world will see the failure, that might force the stupids to stop living in their lala land of imaginary PTI street power and support.
it is the same reason why 144 was imposed when TLP were protesting in the tenue of IK, was that 144 halal & is this one haram ?

when was the last time you saw PTI showing their street power ?

So it went from IK is our red line to staging protests just to meet him in prison. This is what happens when there is no clear strategy & goal on how to take on the military establishment of Pakistan 🇵🇰

Everything PML-N does is halal.

when was the last time you saw PTI showing their street power ?
When they were brutally attacked and killed in cold blood by the military establishment on November 26, 2024. 🙄

What Imran did against the TLP was right and what the govt is doing today is also right. There can't be these constant 'march on Islamabad' in the name of 'freedom of assembly'. Gone on for too long by too many entities in Pakistan.
Having said that, the govt should have defused this situation by allowing the visits by Imran's relatives and senior party workers even if the prison protocols had to be bent a little.

Rite rite, thank you for educating me. God Bless you.

PTI has already lost street power as evident from the recent performance, now only internet warriors remain same as Ukraine, where everyone knows they are loosing but internet is making them victors.

How can one lose what one never had? PTI's initial showings were made possible by envelopes of cash. Once they were withdrawn, PTI has never been able to muster anything sizable in scale.

since he done the time he should be let go. and in the special circomstances and national interest.

see Indians , Afghans, Taliban, TTP and BLA have all joined and benefiting from the PTI hatred and hostilities towards state institutions of Pakistan.

we need to divide our enemies not unite them. American apporach of hammering every opposition and criticism is not helping.
our state must really raise its game and its conduct
we got PTI leaders/ reps like Adil Raja and Imran's sister giving interviews to Indian channels which is unjustified. why not go to Turkyia or Al jazeera or some Western channel .

while we are typing here.. TTP is using the chaos in KP to its advantage. its insane that our citizens are giving them refuge.

He can always sign a undertaking and get a one way flight out. But that is entirely up to him. Letting him out within Pakistan would be a mistake at this stage. Too much is at stake.

Whether Imran's party is able to 'show strength' today or not remains to be seen but what's more important to note: Since the 2013 elections, Imran and/or his party has done numerous 'marches' on Islamabad and/or Sit-ins, and/or large Jalsas and/or violent attacks. Numerous! And if and when Imran is out of prison, you can count on him repeating that pattern--again and again. And then we may say goodbye to whatever little economic activity and focus Pakistan currently has.

The guy has a plan: Disrupt enough to cause anarchy and chaos. Destroy the economy if needed. Wish for even a defeat against India. Stop IMF loans. Stop the Remittances from expat Pakistanis. Whatever it takes to win the power back!

Finally, to those seniors here who think Imran has done 'enough' time in jail: No, he has not. He is a convicted criminal on various charges and if he out the prison, you will regret that day because of what he will do to whatever exists of Pakistan's economy and peace. A VVIP prison for barely 2+ years is nothing compared to what Zardari had faced in his long incarcerations.

Please see the above.

Impossible but Indians would love that and the chaos caused by their current favorite Pakistani Mr. Imran Khan.
Anyway, a bone has been thrown PTI's way. Should have been done days ago even if prison protocols/rules allowed or not.

A good move, indeed.

So is the protest still on? After all, the stated reason is no longer valid.

it is the same reason why 144 was imposed when TLP were protesting in the tenue of IK, was that 144 halal & is this one haram ?

when was the last time you saw PTI showing their street power ?

As I said above, the only times PTI showed any street power was made possible by envelopes of cash, and never since they were withdrawn.

Everything PML-N does is halal.

By the same inference, anything PTI does may be kosher?

that is another reason not to believe your narrative!

That cultits' narrative is nothing but a recipe to incite civil unrest as much as is possible, and needless to say, born of ulterior motives that are selfish and focused on serving the one oversized ego currently in jail.

It will fail now and in the future, just like in the past.

Yes, because PTI actually stands on some ideology & principles like keep going back to the country’s courts for "justice", despite acknowledging the fact that they are now full of military establishment’s "judges" after the recently passed 26th & 27th amendments. 🙄

Totally irrelevant!
Courts become relevant (as opposed to irrelevant) only when politicians are corrupt.

I sincerely hope you can grasp the contrasting dualities in these statements.

Honest and open dealings always take place in the open.

As a matter of fact, what comes before amendment or abolishment of rights?
What is a bigger crime in your eyes—amending laws on one’s whims, or abolishing rights?

Thank God, at least someone here understands what I am talking about on PDF for years!
In the golden words of Bill Clinton: "It is the Economy, Stupid".
Letting him out, knowing his record of alienating key allies, wreckless falsehood against America for his ouster, his arrogance to even skip NSC meetings when Pakistan India were in a conflict in 2019, his unceasing urges for street protests--he is going to be a wrecking ball to the state of Pakistan. No question about that. And he is going to be even more vengeful against the other political parties then while he was the PM. But they too have their vote bank and will rise against him--you can count on that too!

motif seems to be acquisition of gains to blackmail all parties involved!

it is different from personal gains, it is like re-defining rules altogether!
