True. However, the intensity changes. We have had some peaceful, aggressive, and hostile times over the last 75 years.
The thing IEA cannot even retrack all KPK or till Attock claims. However, we don't want them to pursue that actively by bombing them. I heard they have got some drone planes now. 3 Chinese have been killed in Afg-Tjk border due to that. If PAF keeps bombing then Kabul may used drones against Pak, which we don't want.
In the end, nobody can keep fighting, so we need negotiations. The only problem is that we cannot negotiate directly. Both sides have not only exchanged fire but also war of words. Perhaps, they cannot see each other's face after cussing each other's ancestry and creed.
Yes, it had been hostile but the intensity varied. No two countries can forgive and change their stance overnight. For that, we need at least one generation with no hostility at all so people can forget, forgive and move on.Again which Afghan govt was not hostile to Pakistan? I mentioned 3 different govt types and yet we always had a problem. Blaming Asim Munir or Army for everything is not going to solve a thing.
Nonetheless, we had some peaceful border times.
