This is the biggest risk to me - It may not be PTI but could rebrand or have mass movement to PTM.PTI without Imran khan would be a popular separatist party representing 20-30 million people
That is very true, to absolve Dr Frankenstein of the monster he created is the greater crime.Well you cannot put the genie back into the bottle. PTI is a political party that now exists not only on the provincial level but also at the federal level. People can choose whether to support Mr Imran Khan and PTI or not to, their motivations vary. The public support for PTI is clearly demonstrated by its supermajority in KPK and the Establishment's ferocious rigging to steal its votes in Punjab and at the federal level in 2024. The enduring public support for PTI is also clearly demonstrated in how obsessively the Establishment and its puppet political parties are focused on it and the heavy crackdown on it, including the jailing and lawfare its leader has been subjected to.
I do agree with you on the part that Pakistan wasted almost a decade in the experiment, but that to me further discredits the idiotic and treacherous Establishment of Pakistan, not PTI. There are limited paths to power in an autocracy and one cannot blame Imran or Nawaz or Zulfiqar or anyone else for using the system as it exists to come to power in the first place.
What they do with that power and prominence is what matters.
This is the biggest risk to me - It may not be PTI but could rebrand or have mass movement to PTM.
IK needs to be pacified with his madness and let out. Who knows, someone in the mediocrity of Pindi is taking notes on IK being an old man. Let him be the third force in the farce musical chairs of PML, PPP and so on - he is old and eventually his Big Old D energy desire for the chalice will lead him to focus on that again.
PTI will just provide it the populist "legitimate" bandwagon because the opportunity to settle it was lost in 2014.IMO you've already lost the people of KP for the most part. Not because PTI alone, but a whole host of factors.
Time to think the consequences of your actions in earnest rather than going on a MAGA like rant against IK all the time, and having a desi Karoline Leavitt spew BS.
PTI without IK will disintegrate, IK never bothered to train any leadership fearing they will take over his role.PTI without Imran khan would be a popular separatist party representing 20-30 million people
Its as simple as that.. question is can the state keep half of the population together..last time it tried it failed (bengal was 50 population)
(If KPK becomes anti Pakistan separatist along with balchistan which already is then sindh automatically will follow and thats 50% of population)
Last time bengal had india backing, this time Afghanistan may have anyone/superpower backing if such a fault line comes in front dont be surprised we get the Sudan or Indonesia treatment and someone comes in and redraw the line as per wishes of people..
Also army has gravely mis calculated the amount of action it would need in full insurgency in kpk, this isnt bengal
No, they are making sure people of Pakistan do not lead by their chosen leader. They are making sure Pakistan is ruled by corrupt people. So the West wants IK to stay behind the bars?![]()

Did the murder of ZAB lead to the PPP disintegration ? No because his daughter unexpectedly took the reins and surprised the establishment. Did her eventual murder lead to the PPP disintegrating ? No her husband unexpectedly took the reins and outwitted the establishment.PTI without IK will disintegrate, IK never bothered to train any leadership fearing they will take over his role.
who will take the reins then , if ik is goneDid the murder of ZAB lead to the PPP disintegration ? No because his daughter unexpectedly took the reins and surprised the establishment. PPP survived ZAB and BB because it was a real party with ideology, internal structure, district-level organisation and generational loyalty. PTI has none of that. It is a personality cult built entirely around one man. IK never groomed successors, never allowed independent leaders to rise and ran the party like a solo brand. That is why every major PTI figure scattered within days after May 9.Did the murder of ZAB lead to the PPP disintegration ? No because his daughter unexpectedly took the reins and surprised the establishment. Did her eventual murder lead to the PPP disintegrating ? No her husband unexpectedly took the reins and outwitted the establishment.
So why do you expect an established party like PTI to disintegrate if Mr Khan is eliminated ?
If you are thinking in the back of your mind I will just do to Imran/PTI what was done to Bacha Khan and NAP/ANP, which is relentless jailing, exiling, killing, let me tell you PTI enjoys support far far broader than NAP/ANP ever did.
who will take the reins then , if ik is gone
