There is only one reality since the military establishment orchestrated martial law of 1958. What people of Pakistan vote for in the general elections doesn’t translate into transfer of power to their rightful elected public representatives. Be it 1964, 1970 or 2024. Same old problem, just a different date, over & over again.

Also, kill people representative like Quaid, Liaqat, FJ, Bhutto, Benazir, etc, then blame them as traitors. True (traitorship) for all except Liaqat and Quaid. The military never took responsibility for any wrongdoing.

I remember this well. It's one of those jokes that circulated widely and really highlighted the absurdity of the entire 1984 referendum.

His brainless followers kept pushing him into deeper mess by first challenging the opponents/state to bring a no-confidence motion in the national assembly, then daring it to arrest him, then to convict him, then to break him, and now to hang him. Government seems taking their challenges and showing state's power.

It's all lies. Shameless lies from a convicted criminal and his cohorts.

Being a convicted criminal, he is enjoying more perks than any criminals has the world over. Specially cooked food (mutton or desi chicken cooked in desi ghee, fruits, dry fruits, juices, foreign chocolate, etc. all on daily basis), TV, daily newspapers, exercise & study facilities, groups of visitors, etc. What else he wants?

He was even running political campaigns against the government and the state of Pakistan and all that was in a clear and continuous violation of the law and supreme court rulings.

Now the jail authorities have stopped his political meetings. If that is deemed as physical torture, then so be it. The convicted criminal is not above the law.

Let's give the benefit of the doubt to all sides, including the military, being "brainless fools", after all, they are a byproduct of the system, no different than the "others". The same fools who installed an overthrown PM, for not allowing the commercial airliner, with the COAS and 200 other people on board, short of fuel, risking innocent lives, to land in Pakistan, either in India or elsewhere.

When I look at Pakistan, I genuinely wish the concept of The Purge were implemented.

If only Imran followers were to honestly look into Imran's vindictive and harsh treatment of his political opponents using the ISI while he was the PM. If only they consider the totally stupid and undemocratic moves like violating the Const. of Pakistan by throwing out the NCM. If only they consider that their hero, as far as back as 2014, was asking Pakistanis to do civil disobedience. If only they consider that he, as the sitting PM, accused America for his ouster thus greatly risking one of most important Pakistan's ties. If only they consider that he is now lionizing traitor Sh. Mujib as part of his ethnic blackmail to come back to power.
Yes, call 'free and fair' elections NOW when this guy, given one year to mouth his BS 'narrative', became popular so that he comes back to power and starts his good old witch hunting, destroying the economy and foreign relations. Then those at least 65% of Pakistanis who have never voted for him rise up and thus the cycle continues. Is that what you guys WANT?!! Because that's exactly what I predict with a high degree of confidence should he be given the power again!!
