The overseas Pakistani's are different, compared to your generation or my father's, who've come to the West after accepting what's normal in Pakistan, against those who came here very young or born here and are Pakistani by virtue of lineage. Nah. In your entire posted, you alluded to some very high ideals, which, though admirable and desirable, are not be found in the expat Pakistanis' person of choice to next rule Pakistan. Imran had amply demonstrated a high degree of arrogance, cruelty and stupidity as the PM and threw out every democratic norms; to sweep under the carpet his actions and his psypathic tendendies is dangerous for Pakistan and also dishonest.
I believe overseas Pakistanis just enjoy 'the show' from a safe distance pontificating and postulating and if Pakistan burns whether the Messiah Khan's BS narrative would invite the American sanctions, or IMF loans not granted, or Remittances not sent then so be it--not their problem! Not saying that YOU are personally one but IMO most overseas Pakistanis in the West are extremely intellectually lazy and frankly dishonest Cultists.

Was watching a talk show yesterday where PTI representitive admitted even during Imran Khan government it was a hybrid regime in power, both PTI and establishment were on the same page. He said it was a mistake which they suffered for. Javid Hashmi during long march told IK to not play with the establishment but IK did not listen. PDM government is today in bed with the establishment but soon will face problems aswell.

Okay, so how would Imran rise to power, sustain in power? He was never that popular and it was not just the Establishment but also him in bed with 'the electables' and all kind of compromised business tycoons and politicians.
Listen guys: Imran is NOT coming back to power without the Establishment's approval and if he ever does then it will the Establishment which, like in the past, will put down the Opposition to his rule both inside and outside the Parliament.

We can make changes in our own lives, families, relatives, neighbourhood, constituencies. Nobody stops us from doing this but here we are. I am still waiting for Pakistanis to reject corruption, bribery and nepotism culture, follow traffic rules, form queues at shops, keep Pakistan clean. This will alone scare all the dacoits.

Editorial: The use of force this week against protesters outside Adiala Jail, where former prime minister Imran Khan is incarcerated, was part of a familiar pattern: state officials disregarded court orders and individual rights and broke up a peaceful demonstration when they could have easily engaged with the protesters, or at least Mr Khan’s family.

Hope for redress is growing thin, especially as the justice system comes under greater strain. Meanwhile, antagonistic parties are moving towards further confrontation rather than being engaged in defusing the atmosphere of perpetual crisis that has come to dominate the country.
