PTI news, updates and discussions part ll

How do you imagine IK came to power?
Do you think he would have EVER been able to come to power?
EVER?
Reply less as PTI supporter and really look at who you are as a people and how the overall system functions before laying all blame on the population that has guns.
They are just the systemic reflection of who you are as individuals.

If you wanted them to go back, you would have. If you wanted to stop PPPP - you would have. If you wanted PTI in power - it would have happened in 2014.

Whether by "their" design or simply who you are as Pakistanis - you are incapable of mounting large scale revolutions and incapable of sustaining change because all you want is instant gratification.

Whether its emotional rallies for a day or 3 day skirmishes while you lose wars.

Imran Khan was totally wrong to take army hand in 2009-2010. He started PTI with a principalled stance and should have stuck to that.

His 2018 government fell totally flat on its face 3 years in because he tried to have the cake and eat it. To take the army aid in becoming PM and then implementing his own will.

I am still willing to support Khan despite that because he is now back to his original anti establishment stance. As long as he does not take a deal and continues resistance he's on that path. Others are in jail as well.

I am also lenient towards him because this was his first rodeo. He's been through the revolving door once and since then has not made a deal to be let back in.

On the other hand, the Sharifs and Bhuttos despite having suffered personally a lot from this system are cucked beyond belief. They have in their minds fully accepted this hybrid system and are more than happy to abide by it.

If Imran makes that deal, he loses. If he sticks to his guns. He's on his second chance. Is the likelihood that it leads to nothing and he just ends up dying in prison very high? Also yes.

So in short, no one should be getting used ever. The whole system needs to go. THEY need to go. They have fooled us and brainwashed us into thinking that only they have the minds to govern and plan ahead strategically. I am sure this is not the case. It was 2 bloody civilians, a poet and a lawyer who drove the creation of this country. Not these armed real estate tycoons.

Now, is all of this a hopeless cause? Maybe so but who knows what the future holds.

Lets say he doesnt take a deal - and dies in jail.
What happens then? Al- Zulfiqar type hijackings of airliners? Full fledged civil war through KP and eventual dissolution or worse a constant warzone like Syria through ethnic angles?

Where is that path to change?
Because there is no mahatir emerging here
You think people rushing down doors to eat langar really care for democratic ideals?

The problem is assuming what is "ideal" - and what will work are the same.

Itna bhi pitiful nahi hona chahiye.

It is pointless to focus on these things until fauj leaves politics to the politicians.

If you have not noticed, PTI has turned into a clown show. Like her agnostic brother who time to time used Islami touch in his speeches, his sisters job is to do some drama acting for the emotionally charged duffer PTI awam.

Fauj should never leave politics as proven with historical facts. If Imrano wants to implement secular democracy then he should be upfront about it instead of using Islami touch to get Muslim's sympathy.

Why do the most qualified people rarely lead countries? Why do we seek leaders who promise everything and deliver nothing?

Bit extreme there? I do not see PTI doing any of that, because PTI is just one guy Imran Khan and he's currently in jail.

The most 'dangerous' thing PTI could do is protest with a few thousand people. Munir doesn't care about that stuff. He'll fire into a crowd if it ever got to a threatening point.

Drama acting? You mean like Ehd-e-Wafa?

Something happened on May 9th? was it all just paid elements? Seems like the trigger hypocrisy which I highlighted.

If Munir could fire into a crowd he would have done it - you give people who tremble when Vance approaches them at an event too much credit on power security.

They cannot - they have measured responses to go just far enough and so far even their so called measured responses have them frustrated and resorting to the bottle to calm nerves.

I confused - are you saying somehow Bhutto was not one guy when his son was colluding with Arafat to land PLA commandoes against Zai ul haq?
Them too were pampered kids who eventually entered politics to "save" their father...
Although to Bhutto's credit he had many more friends willing to go out of the way for him internationally than IK has. Maybe you are right - PTI is just a whimper that will fizz out when IK dies.

As for the Drama - I thought the preferred one was Ertrugul?

Doing a bit of self doxx here but oh well. I live very very close to that CC House Lahore. I can tell you that not a fly crosses that checkpost. They have a quick reaction force and everything.

However, on that day people literally WALKED across that bridge and crossed checkpost with minimal resistance.

The son of the corps commander at the time was a CMH student (I believe he was in dentistry), what he narrated to some of my friends is that at the exact time of the 'attack' all troops vanished. It was just the commander and his family. PTI youth had full authority to lynch them on the spot but for whatever reason sense prevailed and they were let go.

Then the family literally escaped to a neighbouring house, borrowed the car and left.

If they can do this then imagine what else they can do to put on a show.

EDIT: Even more fishy, I think the Corps Commander Lahore was supposed to die but because he didn't he was removed from the military or at least sidelined in a big way the same day? My memory is hazy on this part.

Promise everything and deliver nothing, sounds like the zioimran 804.
Btw I wonder how PTI followers with Riyasat e Medina hopes and dreams will react when they find out Democracy traces back to kuffar Roman Empire.
