Rafale is and will remain a threat. There is no doubt about that.

Anything India has that can be used against Pakistan should be considered a threat. There should be no doubt there. My prior posts mentions it as a threat that has been neutralized before. We know it very well. Not everything needs to be put out on an online forum.

Let's put it this way, if I was India, I wouldn't have bought more Rafale's. I would go with SU-57 in large numbers or do a mix of SU-57's and F-15 EX's that US has been offering them. That's a much more lethal combination than the Rafale's in their current tranche.

We would worry a bit when India upgrades these to "Super Rafale" standard which will start coming out after 2035. But hopefully by then, we'd ideally have well over 100 5th gen stealth aircraft and a decent number of J-10C's.

With IAF ordering 114 Rafale F4.1s and 36 Su-57M things are looking even bleaker for PAF.

And, when PAF starts adding J-35AEs to it inventory, i.e. a proper 5th gen stealth platform and not some crappy wannabe Su-57, how bleak will things look for India?

Rafale is not the challenge

Pak's has less 4.5 Gen jets, that's the problem

and, in future, Pak. cannot acquire more, why:

1. 2B $ for 20 J 20 CE
2. 30 to 40 $M for JF 17 Block 3 (which has no significant advantage over Rafale at lower height)

so, with obsolete Mirages and JF17s forming 50 to 60% of the fleet.

Gap due to financial constraints, is too huge to be filled!

think of it like this..

around 300 3rd gen tech jets to be replaced by 100 4.5 gen (argument sake!)

those, 100 4.5 jets will cost 10$B!

which we dont and wont have!

not even considering, force multipliers and 5th gen for now!

Keep in mind what I've been writing about, 2028! Re-balancing of our GDP. We should start receiving payments for our minerals exports from 2027-2028 also. Defense budget has to increase easily by a few billion dollars to $ 12 to 15 billion based on the scenario at that time. We can acquire more J-10C's. I'd expect eventually to have these come in 36 current batch + 36 + 24 = 96 total estimated over the next few years. This J-10C number will be less to 72, if we can build a single engine stealth jet through China as PFX.

Saudi factor NOT included for J-10C's, as they are more interested in acquiring some 5th gen stealth jet in numbers.

Btw, for $ 2 billion, only 36 J-10C's come, not 40 and including other things.

Air to ground weapons that they carry are the only threat. such type of systems can't be carried in any of our fighter jet. BVR? we can handle rafale. air to ground? we can't stop them. This is why we need h6k bombers and j-16. these bombers can attack any airbase by using different types of lomg range bombs. Remember what iAF chief said. he said we made pakistani glide bombs ineffective. I don't trust him but we need new long range cruise missiles and new extended range bombs like 500km range and not current 110km range. we lack miserably. India targeted us because of our own weakness. Tit for tat strikes on indian population centres on the same may 7 night would have stopped the war on the same day but we were busy in targeting rafales.

I feel we are trained well for bvr combat but for ground attack, we lack training. What's the use of fatah when we are firing them on a lake? a lake? We are far behind in terms of precision strikes. India miles away from pakistan and we must acknowledge it and we should fill the gaps but we need j-35 like it will do some magic. India has radars to detect it. Are we getting new chinese hypersonic missile with this jet? if not then it's useless to buy j-35.

buy h6k bombers.India will do only bombing in the next conflict. they will not put their fighter jets in danger. Their long range scalp and hammer are working. Do we have similiar systems? no. are we trying to induct a platform that can launch long range bombs? no. going after j-35 is like an obsession for me. Where will you land it if india bombs the whole airbase? i see no common sense here.

I was hoping Bilal bhai provides a more balanced review on Sindoor/ claims/ kills/ losses, and he beats this Austrian Tom Cooper to the punch.....and presents our perspective on the campaign.

Anyway........missed opportunity.

I know this last war didn't go well for us since we were surprised by the Indians.

Hopefully the Iranis are watching and learning and hopefully issue a day by day/ blow by blow account of Operation Rising Lion, before an Israeli issues a new book.

@Quwa @shapurzolaktaf @Persian Gulf @Hack-Hook @Kyussis
Honestly i don't think it's needed the whole world has already bought our claims of 5/6 kills on the night of 7th may and all the available information has already been discussed in depth on every forum imaginable. Personally, I'll prefer @Quwa and others to focus on the cracks on our side which they are doing eg: air defense, lack of preemptive strikes, low production capacity and the future threat of saturated attacks of which we saw the trailer this time.
