I don't know how old are you. He is HKhan from PakDef forum from bygone era.

Not exactly
Numbers on Rafale and Meteor would give them advantage of having a fleet that has higher serviceability and finally more aircraft can talk to each other.

What will be more important is if they can get Netra numbers up as well.
Interoperability and net centric warfare is their achillees heel and if they solve that their numbers will outdo PAF.

Oscar
If you know this
The guys who I respect on Quwa also said full networked Indian air force with 140plus Rafale is huge threat
Why why why is the Indian air force not aware of this

I think the air force leadership at Pakistan works more efficiently more forward thinking on just 20% of the resources

There has been a lot of scrutiny on why Countries like India are still pursuing mid fourth generation multi reading le from fighters at vast cost

Hopefully this article will explain why
Also those suggestions that Pakistan is very very soon obtaining J35 or any high end Fifth generation fighters in the next two or three years may be tad disappointed

It' take 24/48 hours to prepare a fifth generation fighters for repeat sortie after return from mission

A high end mid fourth generation fighters like Rafale F16/70 or J10c are ready in two or three hours

Israel the most battle proven air power in the world are preparing to acquire next generation upgraded Silent eagles or 50 planes along side equal number of F35 over next few years

I for one am pleased that India are on the verge of signing 24 billion dollar for Rafale F4.2 and Rafale F5 fighters with 90 to 114 more of those fighters arriving in India next few years

Fifth generation has its role but most missions will need fourth generation fighters to kick down the doors ultimately and eventually this role will go unmanned wing men to do the same job without risking pilots or 100 million fighters

Pakistan right now has
Orderd J10c about 12 delivered
F16 block 52 number 18 only
There are about 50 older vintage Falcons needing upgrade or replacing as we speak

The back bone of PAF will remain the 150 Thunders in three blocks

The cost to acquire j10c is billions of dollars and this may slow down the J35 purchase

I don't think Pakistan will leave j10c at 25 in numbers only

I suspect the minute India and France sign the MRFA deal later this year we will see Pakistan moving on more J10c officially

That may mean no J35 ordered until it's combat proven and fully integrated in chinease air force which will need five more years at least

I think we need j-16 in large numbers. It can use afk-98 which itself is a real threat for iaf bases. also it can carry pl-17. I think we need this jet in large numbers like 200. integration with other platforms will be very easy. In lack of any genuine bomber, j-16 will fulfill two roles quite easily. just think about this jet bombing indian bases and engging targets as far as 400km away, it will be some fun. unfortunately pakistani obsession with j-35 will not give us desired results.India is coming to destroy air bases. only solution is to bomb their bases. air to ground weapon like afk-98 is very cose to what indian deploys. it's basicaly our answer to indian scalp.

Its time to move to 5th generation and loads of jf:”s for ground missions

This has been said multiple times that J-16 cannot be exported since they are Russian IP, if we need Russian platforms that badly then why not just buy the Su-30M2's in large numbers assuming Russia is willing to sell them to us in the first place?
