How do you know they were running a scam ? Crypto investments even in established cryptocurrencies like BTC and Ethereum are inherently very risky. Those in newer coins are outright speculative. Just because this idiot didnt understand the risk of the investment he made and lost money doesn't necessarily mean he was scammed.

And yes, Dar is completely compromised and his position is completely untenable, especially since one of the victims is a EU citizen. Pakistan's EU GSP is contingent on the implementation of treaties on human rights, women's rights, etc and if the Dutch government rakes this up, it could jeopardise Pakistan's GSP status.

That over niceness is a drop in the ocean but is fine from going a long way.

That isnt the problem - the problem is that Pakistani men like weaponing rape because to them it affirms their own insecurities.
Lets say these women came in here and basically he at best threatened them or left them stranded.

You remove a typical stigma surrounded with people of this region.
But no, forget foreign women - the most immediate instinct of the wrong man in Pakistan is either rape or throw acid.

The case itself reeks of much more than two foreign women and has to do with probably how the relationship in crypto is always iffy and more so how its really scammers trying to scam each other most of the time.

However, its like the Pyramid scheme that came before Crypto & Bitcoin over a decade back.

Here, in the UAE there were some companies that were running such schemes & were listed in Netheralnds.

Look..., no one on this Forum will ever get the full details other than what we are being fed my Police/Govt. or some Journalists.

Its basically a game of whom you really wanna believe.

This Dar fellow got frustrated when his calls weren't being recieved by these 2, which would indicate that they were taking him for a ride (at the time). Obviously the tables turned when he eventually took them for a ride to Lahore.

I think the bigger question is where did this little sh!t get that kind of money to invest in the first place. He's what...22...23?
