And you think they don't have lives of their own ? The US has the best investment opportunities in the world. Why would anyone living in the US send money to Pakistan beyond what is needed to support their dependents?

Despite all the UAE hate, Its been second largest %-wise remittance growth source in 4 years , second to EU category. Increasing constantly despite rumours of Pakistanis getting deported or treated as second class workers.

American Pakistanis need backup as anything can happen overseas. Maybe not today but 20-30-50 years from now. I would advice all Pakistani Americans to invest in DHA's. Its 100% secure.

Look at all those who invested in Dubai. GCC will be split up and in constant civil war. USA racist civil war is like few decades away. Same with Europe. Always have back up in Pakistan for your children.
