Remittances from Overseas Pakistanis - Updates

all this mumbo jumbo is BS on remittances

most of the money gets spent on:
grocery, medicine, hospital/clinic/fees/treatments, or some appliance purchase, or someone's tuition or educational fees. Gifts for family like on Eid. Purchase of a qurbani part or a bakra for eid, clothing and helping pay bijli bills etc

It does not go elsewhere.......unless we're talking RICH PAKISTANIS like those working and earning HUGE monies where they can sit and just buy expensive plots in DHA or Islamabad........but those are few, not many these days.

The 90% awaam is hand to mouth, and any remittance help they get from their family or relatives from abroad is spent on daily necessities and expenses I mentioned above. Its enough to keep local economy to survive, but its not enough to uplift the country or expend......

And these can easily be disrupted once the war in mideast resumes on bigger level......

Despite all the UAE hate, Its been second largest %-wise remittance growth source in 4 years , second to EU category. Increasing constantly despite rumours of Pakistanis getting deported or treated as second class workers.

UAE hate doesn't have much of a value in financial terms. After all Pakistanis have hugely invested in UAE property market.
