Nothing that will have me living without running water for a month like last winter.

And I did not have to rough it. Hot shower at work every night. Jugs of water to bring home.

Any improvements where I rent is on me, and landlord's open credit at the local lumber yard.

A month and a half ago, insulation in the attic. House 100 years old.
Government program landlord wanted me to look into.

These guys showed up stoned off their ass.

Told them I will turn up the stereo.

When done, they told me they gave me an extra bag, an extra 2-3" across the attic.
