"Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue, & Polar Vortex Is Coming For You"

Of course, metric is better than Imperial.

My 60th birthday, don't want to waste it on debates.

Let me dig up my favorite music videos, you may be surprised...

Back in 1978, last leg of western tour, we visited my mother's brother in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The only time I met my Japanese aunt, Youshego.

She barely knew English. Remember her holding a rubber ball, saying "ball", "ball". She enjoyed my brother and I playing in the yard.

LOL, Trippy woke up my drunk ass 15 minutes before the downpour.

Enough time for the three of us to walk around the block and watch the storm clouds come in.

Barney lived to 15 years old. I was privileged to give him his only home, his last five years.

People are amazed, watching me walk two cats all over this part of town. Credit goes to Barney.

He was the one who taught them.

Every time we returned home, Barney would be at the side walk, to welcome us home.

Cats gone as soon as the rain stopped falling.

Cats keep a tight schedule. Have to do their rounds.

In two hours, they will be back home for some stew. And another walk around the block.

Sixty years ago today, I was born homeless on the streets of Detroit, nearly deaf. Been dirt poor nearly all my life. Didn't learn to hear or talk until I was seven years old.

Even today, hardly anyone wants anything to do with me. But that's alright. My best friends have always been wild animals.

Can go years without hearing hardly anything. It was only recently I figured out how I can listen to music again.

Twelve years ago, finally was able to get a set of hearing aids again, after going seven years without any.

Hearing aids came in one day and asked the boss for an hour off for lunch.

First thing I did was sit along the bayou in Louisiana and just listened to the birds for the first time in years.

Then went back to work.
