Recall that in July 2023, the weighted average price reached 3.002 million rubles, breaking the 3-million mark. Since then and until April 2024, i.e. for 10 months, it has been consistently above 3 million Rub, reaching its maximum in March (3.391 million Rub). Then the weighted average price began to decline: in April by 7% against March, and in May - by 8.5% against April.
The experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency attribute the drop in the weighted average price to the change in the sales structure of new passenger cars. Thus, the market share of "budget" and "medium-price" brands has grown. For example, the market leader - domestic LADA - increased from 30.8% (in April) to 31.5% (in May). The same is true for such brands as Chery, Haval, Changan, OMODA, Belgee and Solaris, the weighted average price of which models is less than 3 million rubles. The total market share of the listed brands increased by 4 percentage points for the month.
At the same time, there was a decrease in market share for a number of "expensive" and "very expensive" brands (EXEED, TANK, Lixiang, Voyah, Zeekr), as well as those that had previously stopped official deliveries to Russia and are now available only through "alternative" imports (Toyota, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, etc.). KAMAZ has prematurely delivered a large batch of NEFAZ 5299-40-57 gas-powered low-floor buses running on CNG in Vologda.
The authorized KAMAZ dealer for sale of passenger vehicles, LLC Bus Center Capital, became the supplier, while the entire batch of buses was transferred more than a month ahead of the deadline stipulated by the municipal contract. A total of 31 NEFAZ 5299-40-57 CNG buses were placed at the customer's disposal. The new passenger vehicles entered the fleet of PATP No. 1, which carries out regular passenger transportation in Vologda.
The passenger capacity of each bus is 96 people, including 29 seats. Over 20% of all used electric cars bought in May were in Moscow (201 vehicles). The second place in the regional ranking is occupied by Krasnodar Krai (88 vehicles), which share is about 9%. At the end of spring, St. Petersburg and Moscow Region had approximately equal volumes of secondary market of electric cars (64 and 61 vehicles, respectively). Irkutsk Region is also in the top five with 46 vehicles.
In addition to them, the top 10 regional ranking of used electric car market at the end of May included Novosibirsk Region, Primorsky Territory, Rostov Region, Amur Region and Sverdlovsk Region. From 20 to 30 used electric cars were bought in each of these subjects of the Russian Federation.

At the beginning of June, AvtoVAZ presented a new LADA E-Niva concept at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). Now, thanks to Maxim Kadakov, the editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, technical details about the novelty have become known.
So, Mr. Kadakov said that there is no classic internal combustion engine and manual gear box under the car hood. The model is equipped with an electric powertrain with a rated capacity of 82 HP (peak capacity is almost twice as much, and amounts to 163 HP), coupled with the gear box of the previous version and all-wheel drive. The battery consists of two sections, one of which is in the trunk, the second is under the second row sofa. The battery capacity is 34 kW/h, the range is 175 km.
