Aurus is the first Russian car brand in the luxury category. Serial production of Aurus Senat sedans started in May 2021 at the plant in Elabuga, and at the end of November 2022 the production of a new luxury SUV Aurus Komendant was launched here. The production capacity is designed to produce up to 5 thousand cars per year. Previously, Aurus cars were produced in a small series format at the facilities of NAMI, where production of special versions of Aurus cars is currently underway.

Experts note that for the first time in the last six months the market of used electric cars managed to overcome the mark of 1 thousand vehicles.
Last time such volumes were observed in July-September 2023, with their peak in August (1,204 units). The electric car aftermarket then began to show a month-to-month decline, with volumes falling below 500 vehicles in January 2024. From February onwards, this market went on an upward trend. The brand ranking of the electric car aftermarket for March is led by Japan's Nissan, which accounted for about a third (32 %) of the total volume - 330 vehicles.
In second place is American Tesla (257 vehicles) with a share of 25%. China's Zeekr (85 vehicles) was also among the top three leading brands. The threshold of 50 bought used electric cars was crossed by German Volkswagen (57 vehicles). The leader among the models remained the same - Nissan Leaf. This version has a 70 kWh battery, and its range is 501 km.
