ok i have a fix so if anyone is having issues getting emails from the website add this to your emails white list or allow list.

its a wildcard apparently and it makes the email website think its fine and it will allow any emails from the domain with those words. well according to the google ai.

well 20mins later i never got a reset email so i worked out that gmx.com is probably refusing to accept any emails from the site as it thinks its something that it wont allow. so if you have issues with resetting an email its possible your email provider has blocking for anything russian it might..

Hello everyone!

The new forum looks very basic. There are add ons that make phpBB 3 look and function like a modern forum, I suggest that @jose121 looks them up, the forum will need a modern style + 8-10 extensions to function well.

can you get back on the forum and post these ideas to the announcements section, we can get as many ideas as possible then create a tasklist with set priorites

You can download styles and extensions on phpbb.com, just do not install anything not marked for 3.3 specifically, a lot of old extensions are no longer in development and will break down on 3.3. Sorry but I can't help much, I don't know anything about forums really.

I suggest you create a new topic here on PDF called: "A new Russia Defence Forum is now up and running" in order to have this clearly separated from the closure of old RDF. It will be indexed by Google (like this one) and people will find out via google that there's a new forum, not just that the old one was closed.

i used my google email thats all good now, i have had many issues with certain sites when i use a gmx email its quite strict on any site almost. i have replied to a couple of threads, hoping to get some more of the old gang back in there. someone was posting some good pics of vessels being built at the russian shiyards. one had pics of the vessels that had sunk in August 2025 they salvaged it and i heard it was in a sort of fresh/ slightly salty water so corrosion is not very high.

anyway going off topic a bit there.

im hoping the russian oil will drive fuel prices down even in australia.
