In general, there's a strong pro-Ukrainian sentiment prevailing among the rebels. No surprise given the fact that Russia killed actual babies, infants in Syria for years!

If you're talking about Russian naval ships I don't think they will enter the Black Sea that would put a huge target on them.

They did have a few dozen fighters and bombers in Syria, those are now free to be used in Ukraine.

But yeah, I don't think this is the end of Russia's Syria fiasco. Militants from Syria are probably gonna go to Ukraine and join Chechen units, and perhaps even go straight to Chechnya and Dagestan itself to fight Russia.

Ukraine isn’t anywhere close to disintegrating. What you’ve seen in Syria is disintegration. The frontline in Ukraine has been mostly stable for 2 years now, and the Russians have been slaughtered.

700,000 dead and wounded Russians, and Ukraine is getting stocked to the point it will only accept a just peace.

Ukraine will negotiate only under a position of strength. Ukraine is being stocked to the point where they can continue this war for most of next year.

Russia has been strategically defeated in both Ukraine and Syria. Time for them to accept their defeat.
