why risk the use of tactical nukes over four border provinces of Ukraine when the US can weaken and hugely increase the cost to Russia (accepting the inevitability of their success in that objective) for the same outcome without nuclear war?

if anything, US has been too involved and unnecessarily increased the cost to itself.

the russians probably did use nukes in the first months as the special military ops shit failed.

Putin’s hatred on Ukraine is bottomless he would nuke Ukraine to ashes with all babies included.

there are just some factors Putin has to participate before raining nukes on Ukraine major population centers.

- provided Ukraine could successfully develop nukes in a short time, would Ukraine nuke Russia in return?
- how the US, the NATO, EU would respond?
- how non nuclear states would respond? the likelihood they go nuclear weapons is 99.99 percent.

the US ultimate focus is China. Russia is much like North Korea in respect to important scale. Putin propaganda show is boring.
