Russia-Ukraine War - News, Discussions & Updates

This war now is a draw, and in the near and clear present future, it would still be a draw, unless something drastic happen, it will not change the needle anywhere.

It didn't matter if Russia "seize" any territories they aimed for, there were NEVER any strategic and military control of Ukraine for Russia, for that, they either need a Pro-Russian Ukrainian administation or they have to conquer Kyiv. Both of them aren't going to be achievable in the near future (I am talking about 50 years +)

You can keep thinking whatever you want, but as I said, you would expect Russia to either push the Ukrainian out of Kursk or took Porvorsk since last year, neither of them happened and it's almost March, that show you how much Russia can handle, I don't deal with what if, or what I think, I look at past military action to predict the future, you read your own lable,

As I’ve said over and over, whether Russia takes the Donbass or not is irrelevant to the strategic outcomes of the war.

Russia lost this war at Hostomel. Ukraine will be aligned with the West, they’ll conduct trade and weapons deals with the West.

What does Russia have to show for it? 800,000 dead and wounded. 20,000+ equipment losses. NATO expanded, an economy with inflation through the roof and 21% interest rates. Their economy is toast post war. 20% of Ukrainian land that’s been largely destroyed with millions of mines laid. Little funds to rebuild with the working population mostly gone.

Russia lost

EU Is in Talks for €20 Billion Military Aid Package for Ukraine

The European Union is preparing a package of about €20 billion ($20.9 billion) in additional military support for Ukraine, according to a person familiar with the matter, as the bloc races to secure assistance for Kyiv in the face of President Donald Trump’s push to reach a quick peace settlement with Russia.

The initiative would aim to deliver artillery ammunition, air defense systems, deep-precision strike missiles, drones as well as other weapons, Bloomberg previously reported. It would also seek to bolster Ukrainian military brigades.

The bloc is seeking to agree in principle to the initiative, which is open to in-kind and in-cash contributions from member states and like-minded allies, at a meeting of foreign affairs ministers this coming week, according to people with the plans, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. It would then be up to EU leaders to agree to a price tag and sign off on the package.

okay, this shows a weakness of larger drones.
It is flying too low and too slow for its size and is easily targeted.

Either drones have to be smaller so they can't be easily targeted or they have to fly higher.

Now the U.Sis going to force the Ukrainians to accept defeat and sign a mineral agreement with Ukraine so the USA can take the Ukrainians mineral, whilst the Russians take the majority

If you see, the Russians have already taken the majority of trillions worth of minerals

All the U.S cares about, is that they leave some for the U.S and fcuk the Ukrainians and their million dead🤣😂🤣👏

The Ukrainians get what they deserve for listening to the Muricans

This is sickening. Where is the honour in that. Drones chasing soldier. A sadistic war.

The bodycounts on both sides are WAY WAY WAY beyond unacceptable...considering US losses in over 18 years in Iraq/Afghanistan were substantially lower than either.

This is just inexperienced both sides using their soldiers as little more than cannon fodder.

These drones should be attacking HQs..not unimportant men in the fields.

Let's say its a draw as neither side fully achieved its objectives.

But which side achieved more?

If you look at today, Russia holds 20% of Ukraine which has natural resources and arable land worth trillions. It holds the Eastern part which is pro Russian and will now become part of Russia as Crimea.

Ukraine can't join Nato, wont be given security guarantees, wont have any western troops stationed there to enforce peace. Ukraine has been fractured and unless the EU is willing to pump billions post war to reconstruct it, it could fracture and disintegrate.

Zelenski days are numbered too. We might even see a pro Russian puppet installed.

Feels like a Russian victory to me.

Russia lost the war at Hostomel. That 20% of Ukrainian land is mostly destroyed, mined, working population long gone, and will require hundreds of billion in reconstruction work.

Ukraine will be aligned with the West for generations. Security and trade deals implemented.

Russias performance in this war is frankly embarrassing. If the US took 20% of Mexico for 800,000 casualties we’d be the laughingstock of the world.

Russia lost at Hostomel. Had they taken Hostomel they would have taken Kyiv and the Ukrainian military likely would have collapsed. Russia failed and it’s been downhill ever since.

You didn't read or respond to any of my points made just parroted what you wrote 1000 posts back.

Look if you want to live in alternative reality be my guest. Rest of us can see what's happening in front of us.

That 20% Putin holds is worth $6trn in minerals and natural resources.

Now your president trumpy wants in on the pie too.

Zelenskyy backers knew all this when the war started. Ukrainians were selling them on the black market. At least at the time the weapons were showing up in Eastern Europe. Now they are showing up with cartels? Wow 🤩

I 100% agree that Ukrainians and Russians are showing unbelievable misuse of equipment.
