Continuing the war is no longer a option for either Zelensky or Putin. They have to make some sort of deal soon, with or without EU. And it's best for them to keep US, who is behaving like a vulture to scavenge from their mortal remains, at a bay from any deal they make.

Continuing the war is possible with American and European commitment. I firmly believe in Ukraine's right to defend itself, I also firmly believe in Russia's right to fight NATO in the guise of Ukraine.

Ukrain could have done without NATO partership, if they wanted to entered into a serious agreement with Russia. It's still salvagable, if Russia partially withdraw and Ukrain promises not to pursue NATO.

I don't like dead people either. But remember the Americans, all European powers and the Russians are all imperial powers. They never cared about human lives for their imperial goals in numerous wars and colonisation. We the people of the east have far more humanity built in our culture and society, which is why we worry about loss of their human lives. If we were the ones on the receiving end of it, they wouldn't care about our lives.

- Feb 2022 Russia begins its special operation.


Compare how they act to Europeans / Jews who essentially destroy all infrastructure ( Iraq, Gaza, Vietnam)....from schools, hospitals, universities etc. Ukraine is still functional......it could be a different story but isn't. Russia is showing restraint.

Pakistan Army had blocked the road leading to Indian-occupied Kashmir, making it impossible for the Indian military to enter Kashmir at that time.

Who on earth told you that? The Kargil road was shelled, but traffic continued. The Kargil road ran from Sonamarg, by Dras and Kargil to Leh. Entry into the Vale from Udhampur was completely unaffected.

However, the Pakistani Army was positioned on mountain peaks and was completely exposed.

Indian jet fighters were continuously bombing Pakistani forces, resulting in heavy casualties among Pakistani soldiers.

The Indian Air Force was called in late, after the intrusions were discovered, and after ground action to remove them had started.

Although Pakistan managed to shoot down two Indian jet fighters using Stinger missiles, which forced the Indian Air Force to halt further attacks, by that time, the Pakistani Army had already suffered significant losses.

No air attacks stopped. Instead of MiG27 and escorting MiG21s, Mirages were used, with smart bombs.

The reality is that Pakistan chickened out. If we had held on a bit longer, we could have gotten things on our terms.

Whether or not a leadership that allowed such poor movements is to be called weak or anything else is entirely a matter for the Pakistani people to decide.
