I know you don't like Ukraine, but I thought you knew how this worked.

So, this isn't money being sent to Ukraine, the money is staying in the UK, and going to factories that produce items needed, thus creating UK jobs. Also, a huge amount of it will be through old systems almost out of shelf-life, which needs to be replaced anyway.

As much as I am against US being part of wars that has nothing to do with it, the argument we saw was extremely embarrassing, not just for the Ukrainian President but also the USA/President, you don't treat the guest like this and it was clear that Trump was not happy with Zelensky, called him Dictator and in past they have issues about getting dirt on Hunter Biden, now Putin is no saint and the way Trump is even reluctant to criticize Putin is very weird direction US has taken, I know we have lots of Trumps fan here but the thing is that we know what Trump is doing or the whole Idea of America first didn't matter when it comes to Israel, all that crap that our aid is going to Ukraine is a waste while not a single word over Israel Aid, and the money that goes from back door channels, Trump supports will gladly pay off Israel or even send Troops to die there but will demonize Ukraine for defending their own country, so its a bit hypocritical.
Now Biden's Admin was no different, while they support the Ukraine right to defend and runs propaganda against the Russians, glamorizing Ukrainians old mothers, kids who are doing what they can (including showing videos of making Molotov's for Ukraine Army) but imagine if a Palestinian or Iraq's or any Arab mother or Grandmother or kid's video surface of making Molotov's to fight US or Israel, they will demonize them as primitive barbaric individuals and justify blowing them up.

I have said this in Israel Gaza war thread before American election, If Trump wins he will show the world the True face of America, the whole Standing for Liberty, Freedom etc is nothing more than BS, US was/is/will always be an imperialist expansionist empire which is under total grip of Zionists, I used to believe that these Leeches only control Middle Eastern Policy but now I am starting to believe that these Leeches also dictates and decide US entire Foreign policy, they are sucking the America dry, using Democrats to start wars, fuel conflicts and sucking the US economy while ignoring its own people, and through Republicans they scam right wing idiots into believing that this orange cheeto will bring America first and fix their issues, America is not pulling itself from any war, it is just that now they are cutting the unwanted (Ukraine War) for the focus and resources to be shifted for the "Chosen People".
