2 years, unless GOP can maintain house and senate leadership, and if Dem taken over 60 seats in senate, Trump is a goner.

The way Trump is going is most likely going to lose the congress (which only 3 seats majority out of 430) and Senate (only 8 seat majority out of 100) in midterm. If Dem took any one of the houses, Trump will be a lame duck. Getting over 60 seats in senate will be hard (Meaning dem would need to win 32 seats to GOP 18), but if the dem do have that number, they can impeach and remove Donald Trump.

He don't care actually, this is his second term, the people who he burn the most is going to be Republican. Because american will look at GOP differently, and what he is doing now opening the door for the dem to do the same when they come back in power. It's not a if, but when

With less than 100 days in, he already broken 2 promises

1.) Target inflation rate, which he is actually worsen it by enacting unnecessary Tariff
2.) Solve the Gaza issue, well, he is trying to solve it alright, just not how the people vote for him wanted.

The Ukrainian company Ptashka Drones demonstrated a miniature hand-held drone interception system. The device is quite small and is equipped with a net that is fired in the direction of the drone's flight. The net launcher is convenient to use as individual protection for soldiers against drones. It is still unknown whether there will be large-scale production. According to the developer, the device fires a 3.5-meter net at drones at a distance of up to 30 meters. I think Europe holds the card.

right now the russians shit on europe, the US shit on europe because Europe is seen as weak.
economy is weak.
military is weak.
but
should Germany succeed with rebuilding the army, rebuilding the economy.
should Europe arm with nukes.
then that will be a new game.

Ukraine is secure without the US, immun against russian aggression.

Russian economy is fucked beyond all recognition, each years this war drag on takes Russia 3 extra years to go back to normal, right now it's on the blink with a very high interest rate with a high inflation rate.

was reading an article from one of those big firm (Don't remember if it's JP Morgan or Standard and Poor), they pointed out Russia cannot have their economic recovery when the interest rate is still high, because that inhibit economic activities, and even if the war end this year, Russian interest rate is going to be high in the next 3 years, and then the long road of recovery begin. This is going to take 10+ years to have Russia economy going back to pre-2022 level but then by this time Europe will not be Russia main customer, which mean either China will need to replace EU as a whole, or Russia need to seek new venture. China won't be able to do that because they too are in not very healthy economy at the moment, plus they have their own economic engagement with other country.

So what exactly can Russia do? You need market to sell resource to, and unless Europe relent and reopen their market to Russia, that's 40% of Russian market gone, wipe out. Kind of wondering if Europe keep the sanction, would Russia ever be able to recover economic wise.

There are no way at this current level anyone would agree to a cease fire, maybe Ukraine would want to talk about it in 2026 if things change with US congress? I don't know, maybe Russia want to talk about it in 2026 when they failed to manage to take any significant gain with their economy going into the poop house? I don't know, but right now, at this moment, I don't see anybody want to talk to anybody about ending the war. Ukraine is not going to be incentivize because US is going to push them into unfavorable term, Russia is not going to be incentivize as they aren't at a place they can dictate term.

A strong Europe may be the key, but it's going to take time to pick Europe from its currently shitty state into something stronger, it won't happen in the next few years, so meanwhile who is holding the cards?

Putin can’t stop this war even if he wants it.

russia economy is based on running the war machine. if the machine stops, russia economy from $2 trillion would shrink by half to $1 trillion. or worse.
he must keep this bloodshed running.

Putin is a much a drug addict. he needs a steady infusion of drugs.
there is no way out.
 
Russia should take this gap in the US and Ukraine supply chain and bombard Ukraine and turn it into Europe's version of Gaza; maybe then the Europeans can have a tourist destination to get a close-up view.

Leave not a single structure standing.

This would be VERY hard to do, considering how big Ukraine is, compare to Gaza. You are talking about 600,000 sq. km Ukraine vs 300 sq km Gaza......

Russia will go bankrupt if they try to turn Ukraine into Gaza........

Also, US only supplies one set of Anti-Air defence, that's Patriot Missile. Ukraine operate other Anti-Air Asset such as IRIS-T, NASAM, Cortale all sort of Soviet Anti-Air Defence and Manpad.
