I still don´t understand how´s possible a drone can destroy a tank.
take Lance-3 drone. it has a weight of 12kg, warhead 3kg, top speed 300kmh.
lets make the math
we have the combination of
the kinetic energy (E=1/2*m*v^2)= 540kJ
+ heat energy of 3kg plastic explosives= 12,552kJ
together 13,092kJ
that amount is not enough, unlikely to disable, least destroy a leopard 2 tank.
that must be a lucky hit out of 10 attempts.
then the drone must hit exactly the weak spot in the tank armor.

FPV can deliver an RPG-7 shot onto the top of a tank where the armor is weak. RPG-7 could penetrate like 500 mm of RHA steel and pierce the front of an M60A3 tank. I reckon FPV would have no problem damaging Abrams or Leopard 2 beyond repair.

This Russian-Ukrainian crisis is not of our concern.
But there needs to be alternatives to USA ever since the Afghanistan (2001-2021) and Iraq (2003-2011) wars.
This is enough justification to support countries like Russia, China, Brazil, and Japan.
