It should be visible up top here, especially since there's a discussion going on but instead it's shifted right to the very bottom where no one sees it 1000000614.jpg

Yes yes we have seen negative posts like this before

Ironic comment from someone who has thanked almost every single post and been a constant defender of @VCheng who is the biggest negative Nelly on this forum of anything to do with Pakistan.

I agree with @RationalPakistani . This is a pity project given by the Chinese to Pakistan after India landed their spacecraft on the Moon.

Need valued input of respected think tank members.

I believe this isn't worth celebrating much. Incredibly basic and simple tech in the aerospace world yet we still had to leech off Chinese expertise to do it.

All it shows is our weakness, like that small brother who needs his hand held.

As some would say, oh don't be such a "negative Nelly" by telling us the reality. We can see what it is clearly, but it is nice to present this as some kind of sitaroon peh kamand type of great scientific leap that people supposed to show muhabbat un jawanon sey hey type of fawning adulation. :D

Yes yes we have seen negative posts like this before, let me tell you researchers at NUST SEECS and UET aren't leeches, and would be greatly dismayed by such pessimist attitudes. I share with you just a snippet of projects recently completed at MCS and NUST

Great list, but how many of them are original work, or indeed indigenous?

If being pessimistic is based on reality then I would prefer to stick with realistic analysis than deluding ourselves

Of course that doesn't mean I want people to be hopeless and give up. I am generally a hopeful person so when I point out issues it's more of a thing to identify and fix, not get sad over

The majority of work at SEECS is Indigenous because it requires patents. Interestingly USB 3.0 Interface was also developed in partnership with NUST SEECS. Sadly Pakistan doesn't get the global fame it deserves.
