Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, in a recent call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, conveyed the Dutch government's commitment to deliver 18 F-16s. There is no Ukraine historically, it was a Soviet misconstruction. The Russian Orthodox religion started in Kiev in 863AD. Crimea and Sevastopol have been Russian lands since Czarist era. This whole Ukraine facade has no historical or demographic merit.

Doubt it. Su-35 are armed with R-37M which can knock out planes from 200 km away. F-16 get knocked out before it even knows what hit it. On top of that, Ukraine lacks AWACS which puts it at a disadvantage.

Ah, the nostalgia.

To all familiar with F-16 history, these F-16s have a lot of historical significance. Back when YF-16 is still just a part the LWF program, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, and Denmark, also rearing to ditch their F-104Gs, entered a joint procurement program with USAF. The 388th tactical got their first F-16 on Jan 79, Belgium got their first in the same month, the Dutch got theirs in June.

These 18 F-16s can be considered the "founders edition" F-16s, some of the oldest F-16s ever produced, where similar examples in the US have all been either scrapped or converted into QF-16 target drones.

As for actual combat capability, I pity the poor souls that had to pilot them and I wish they never have to enter WVR combat or have to conduct high G maneuvers lmao.

There's no way Ukraine can win unless NATO militarily intervene like in Crimean war. Russia has 48 times the area of Ukraine. Russia has 4 times the population of Ukraine. Russia has more weapons than Ukraine. Russia has better weapons than Ukraine. Russian grew up in cold places and are more brutal than Ukrainians.

Neither does any country, including Russia, Australia, US, New Zealand, UK, India, Pakistan...etc, if you go far enough back in history. The concept of statehood is simply a made up one based on nothing more than personal feelings.

But regardless, the Ukrainian people and history are quite old. There's a reason why the Russians actively suppressed the Ukrainian people and language, so the Russian historical claims over the lands can easily be dismissed.

In the end your point makes no sense. Nations are born and die, that is history. The Ukrainian nation exists now, so your entire point is moot.

FYI, this logic of yours is what the Israelis use to deny Palestine's existence, and what hindutva use to deny Pakistan's existence.
