These F16's & AWC’s probably represent the greatest current risk of escalation because Ukraine simply does not have the ability to operate and maintain these aircraft. They will most likely have to be operated from Polish military airfields? Or another 3rd country.

How do you know Ukrainians won't have the ability to maintain them? Just like Patriot battery I'm pretty sure they are going to have US/NATO "advisers" teaching them how to maintain such fighters. F-16's are the most numerous fighters in NATO there will be no shortage of parts.

Manned jets can never compete with drones. Manned jets are only in the hundreds. Drones are in the millions.
